2 From the Principal Dear School Community, It has been great to see our student s improving their skipping skills and enthusiasm during Jump Rope for Heart. We have raised $ so far, well done to all our students for their efforts! A big thank you to Christina Lockyer, Veronica Thomas and Raylene Lowson for helping our students develop a routine for our Jump Off at 2:15 pm on Tuesday 12 December. Our new Junior Room teacher for 2018 is Hayley Stinson. We are very excited at the skill set that she will bring to our wonderful school and community. Hayley will be visiting the school on Monday 11 December to meet everyone. We will host a morning tea to welcome Miss Stinson and farewell, parents are invited to attend from 10:30 am. I would like to thank for her eight years of service at Bremer Bay PS, you will be missed and we wish you all the best in your time away. Our students performed beautifully at the Seniors Lunch on Tuesday 21 November. After our performance the students were given lunch and then given the opportunity to interact with our Senior Citizens. It was great to see both generations leave with a huge smile on their face. A big thank you to Jeni Dawson for her efforts in choreographing the performances. We have had an overwhelming positive response to the Positive Behaviour in Schools (PBS) information night we hosted at the start of this term. We will start our PBS journey next year with the staff attending a Professional Development day on Tuesday 30 January I am looking forward to the final events of the year being Interm Swimming, Jump Rope for Heart Jump Off, Year Six Graduation, School Concert and potential water fight! I am sure everyone is excited about the holidays and I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Festive Season. I want to thank everyone for their support since my arrival in April, it has been a very busy year and we have achieved a great deal. I am looking forward to us taking our school to the next level in 2018!!
