1 6New South Wales All Schools Diving Championships 6 May 2016 Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre Homebush Championship Rules Competition - Boys and Girls Dives Springboard Springboard Diving shall be conducted in the following categories 17+ Years and 16 Years: Eight (8) dives from at least four (4) different groups, ie four (4) dives from four (4) different groups with a total maximum degree of difficulty limit of 7.6 plus four (4) different groups without a degree of difficulty. 15 Years and 14 Years: Six (6) dives from at least three (3) different groups, ie three (3) dives from three (3) different groups with a total maximum degree of difficulty limit of 5.4 plus three (3) dives from three (3) different groups without a degree of difficulty. 13 Years and 12 Years: Four (4) different dives from at least two (2) different groups, ie two (2) dives from two (2) different groups with a total maximum degree of difficulty limit of 3.6 plus two (2) dives from two (2) different groups without a degree of difficulty limit. Platform years: (5m and/or 7.5m) Three (3) dives from three (3) 5.4 plus two (2) dives from two (2) groups with no limit on degree of difficulty years :(5m and/or 7.5m and/or 10m)

Association Point Score The points system is as follows: 1 st place points 2 nd place... 8 points 3 rd place... 6 points 4 th place... 4 points 5 th place... 2 points all other places... 1 point General Age Age is determined by age turned during the year of competition. This team will be selected at the conclusion of the event. Eligibility Competing divers must be bonefide students of schools within the association the represent. Judiciary In the event of any circumstances requiring a judiciary, the judiciary shall consist of the Championship convener and a representative from each Association. -2- All Schools Diving
3 NSWCHS Diving Team Selection Pathway: Students born 2006 to 1997 must be members of their respective association team ie NSW Combined HS Schools, NSW Combined Catholic Colleges or NSW Combined Independent Schools team and participate at the NSW All Schools Diving Championship to be held Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on the 6 May Selection Criteria: Springboard and Platform i. to gain selection, divers must compete in the selection trials and complete availability form ii. iii. iv. divers in 12/13 years, 15 years and 17+ years springboard are required to do an additional dive divers have to reach an acceptable standard of performance to gain selection the selection committee's decision will be final. Synchronised Diving Pairs will be chosen from within the selected team. Team Synchronised and Knockout competition-all divers will compete in these events.
