There will be a stall at the Spring Fayre selling school PE Tops for half price ( 3) and second hand uniform items for 1. 2 This years School Prom is to be held on Monday 9 th July at Warwick Tennis Club. The venue has disabled access and has lots of lovely outside space all the things that the students wanted. All students will have the option to go home at lunchtime and return to school to get the Limo to the venue for an evening of festivities! Letters to all Year 11 and Sixth form leavers will be going out this week. Page 2 of 17

4 Evergreens did a congratulations card to Prince Harry and Meghan Markel, we were so pleased about the news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markel are engaged. And they are planning to get married in the spring term, Prince Harry and Meghan Markel talked to BBC Newsround about their engagement. They were so happy about getting married in the spring term, we are so very happy about it and we sent the congratulations card, to Prince Harry and Meghan Markel. We were waiting for a reply letter from the engagement couple, after weeks and weeks then we had a white envelop from Buckingham palace London. Ryan read the reply letter and it has the picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel on the front, the evergreens students had an idea we decided about doing an Evergreens Awesome Board to do about Prince Harry and Meghan Markel. And the wedding is going to be at st George s Cathedral in Windsor Castle on the 19 th May 2018 at Written by Josh Barnett Evergreens 6\2\18 Page 4 of 17

7 Entrust are pleased to share with you information about their Entrust Entrepreneurs Easter sessions at the Open Door Cafe in Hampton Magna. The sessions will take place on Thursday 5th April, Thursday 12th April and Friday 13th April, 10am 12 noon - 20,00 a session (includes snack refreshments) The Entrust Entrepreneurs for these sessions will need to be over 16 years of age There is a maximum of 6 places on each day During the session the Cafe will be open to the local community and our young people will have the opportunity to support the cafe manager and volunteers in the running of the cafe; support cooking, making cakes, making hot drinks etc. We will also have a craft activity during each session. The session will be supported by Entrust Care Partnership staff and volunteers. Please do not hesitate to contact Emma at Entrust if either of these opportunities are of interest. Page 7 of 17

10 Entrust are so excited to share with you a very exciting event we are hosting alongside lots of great supporters. On Saturday 2nd June 2018, they are holding a music festival, for young people aged over 12 years old and adults with a disability and their guests (Family and Friends) The event is from 4pm pm It is being held at Old Leamingtonians Rugby Club, Bericote Lane, Leamington Spa Tickets will need to be purchased in advance, they are 5.00 per person and will go on sale on Monday 16th April more details to follow on how to purchase the tickets. They have a number of bands who have already agreed to play during the festival, between them they will offer a wide range of music styles, we hope to have other entertainment too. Entrust do not have core funding for this event, and are seeking sponsorship to cover core costs, which they also hope to cover through the sale of tickets and the raffle. There will be a raffle, face painting / festival glitter, stalls, a tea and cake stall, hot food stands etc Entrust are still developing other ideas for the event - if you have any ideas, contacts for bands, marquee - party tents, sponsors, raffle prize contacts etc...please contact them Finally if you or someone you know would like to help in the planning for the event or on the day please do get in touch,our next planning meeting is on Thursday 15th March at 6pm, meeting at Old Leamingtonians Rugby Club.
