2 Congratulations Miss Paton Miss Paton is getting married Yes Miss Paton is getting married to Trent on Sunday. On behalf of our school community, we all wish Bec and Trent a long, happy and healthy life together full of fun and loving times. We know that they will both have a fabulous day on Sunday at their wedding with family and friends. Easter Hamper Our Student Representative Council have organised an Easter Hamper to be drawn at our final assembly tomorrow. Tickets for the hamper are 50 cents each or 3 for $1.00. Members of our Student Representative Council are selling tickets before and after school each day at the front of the school. All monies raised by the raffle will go to support the Good Friday Appeal and the Royal Children s Hospital. Hot Cross Buns Many thanks to Teresa Heard and Lee-Ann Verberne for co-ordinating the Easter Hot Cross Bun drive. A big thank you to all the parents and staff who purchased Hot Cross Buns. No doubt, they won t last long over the holiday/easter break. Heat Bears Many thanks to Karen Temple who co-ordinated the purchase and selling of the Heat Bears. We had a great response to the Bears and now with the weather is beginning to turn, they will no doubt get lots of use. Leadership Day On Monday our School Captains, Maddie and Cohen attended a Leadership Conference at the Convention Centre with 4,000 other students. The students had the opportunity to hear from inspiring leaders and engage in team building activities.
3 Both Maddie and Cohen returned to school so enthusiastic about their role as School Captains but also the endless opportunities we can create when we all work together. Many thanks to Karen Temple for taking Maddie and Cohen to the conference. Staff Car Park Named Spaces Each year, we sell off two car parking spaces as a fundraiser for the school. Please note that these spaces are to be kept vacant at all times. If you need to park in the staff car park to pick up a sick child, please park in the disabled park near the Multipurpose Room. Assembly Friday Tomorrow our assembly will begin at 1.50p.m. in the Multi-purpose Room. At tomorrow s assembly, one student from each grade will receive the Principal s Award. Our dance groups will also perform along with some special items. We look forward to seeing everyone at assembly tomorrow. End of Term Where does the time go? It only seems like yesterday that our Prep students started school. It has been such an exciting term of teaching and learning with all students giving of their best both in and out of the classroom. May I take this opportunity to wish everyone a fantastic holiday and Easter break. Please be safe over the break and we look forward to seeing everyone back safe and sound on Tuesday 18 th April.
