It will provide a window to our students and esteemed teachers to present a glimpse of the activities that they have been organising with utmost devotion and team spirit. We, in KVS, are guided by the principle that every child is an invaluable human resource whose growth and development is a determinant of the peace and progress of the country. And I am delighted to see that all of our teachers are taking very good care of every child using their 21st century teaching skills. My heart felt gratitude to Shri Dharmendra Kumar Ji and all other colleagues for this excellent work and my best wishes to them for their many more similar ventures in future as well. Munesh Kumar, Principal FROM THE EDITOR S PEN The aim of this maiden Newsletter is to channelize the creative talents and to showcase the activities of the primary children under the CMP. Vidyalaya plays an important and special role in transforming knowledge into wisdom of students because it organizes various activities and Newsletter is one of them a platform to harness and sharpen their hidden talents. The Newsletter is like a vast canvas on which the students painted with skillful strokes and vivid colours with their innovative and creative artistic expressions in the form of art, poetry, write ups etc. I, from the editorial desk, pay my sincere thanks my philosopher, guide and Guru worthy Principal sir and colleagues for their endless endeavours. Drawing Competition was held in the Vidyalaya on Save Water. The children made the best use of their imagination and made heart touching drawings. 4 CELEBRATIONS Drawing Competition on Glorious 70 Years of Independence Day Teachers Day Celebration (5/9/17) Teachers Day, auspicious occasion for teachers, was celebrated as the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan, Hon able 2 nd President of India. His portrait was garlanded and brief biography was given as well. 4

It was organised in all the Primary Classes by the students and class

working together as a team and sharing food with other children.

5 Independence Day Celebration 15 th August 2017 Community Lunch: Community Lunch was organised in the vidyalaya. It was organised in all the Primary Classes by the students and class teachers to make the students learn life skills and contribute to the well being of the group. They learnt about healthy eating habits, sense of community feeling, working together as a team and sharing food with other children.
