The time is from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. The FAT Man will DJ and the cost is $50 per person. There is a special room rate for graduates who want to stay at the Embassy Suites. Just mention the Class of 84 reunion to get the special rate. Anyone who has any questions or wants to come should contact Dan Sherrard at Some of the alumni are planning an outing to the SK/Scott Football game at Scott on Friday, September 17th. Dan has details. The Class of 1994 is having their reunion on September 4, 2004 from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. in The Vista Room at The Gardens of Park Hills. Invitations should have been sent out to the graduates by now. If you have any questions or didn t get an invitation, please contact Carrie Reagan at for more details. 2 Information for Graduates All of you receiving this newsletter are members of the alumni association but several of you owe dues. The original cost was $10 for the first year and $5 for each renewal. The money is used to pay postage on the newsletter, printing costs, postage, etc. For your membership you get the newsletter and a membership card which will get you into Scott athletic events at no charge if you should choose to come. If you haven t paid in a while, I would appreciate a check and an update on what you are doing for the newsletter. Everyone likes to know what s up. Facility Improvement Scott s parents and the administration continue to work hard to improve what s available to Scott students. This year we have added a greenhouse, more fencing for the soccer field, more padding for the gymnasium, and work on the baseball concession/pressbox continues. In addition, the school plans to add an additional parking lot between the tennis courts and the football field parking lot. The school continues to upgrade its technology and computer resources. Mr. Krallman joins the Hall of Fame Andrea Poppel teaches and coaches Volleyball and Softball at Scott.

3 Miscellaneous Information Many of you have lost touch with Scott and what s going on here so an update seems in order. For information, go to For individual alumni, try classmates.com Many of our alumni are available there. There are a number of alumni association members who have moved and we have lost the address and contact information. If anyone knows the whereabouts of the following grads, please let me know. They include Doug Smith, David Deckard, Stacy Harden Thompson, Lisa Harney Farmer, Lee Wright Sebastian, and Tracy Shrout Rainey. That Scott offers a large number of advanced placement classes for bright students and is sending many juniors and seniors to NKU and Thomas More for College credit while still in high school. That Scott s Homecoming is October 8th and 9th. That both Scott s boys soccer team and girls soccer team won the District tourney this past year That the girls cross country team was the Regional Champs once again. That the cheerleaders won the Regional Competition for the 12th time in a row. That both boys and girls basketball teams qualified for the Regionals with either District Championship or runners- up status That the swimming team was once again the combined Regional winner. That Scott provides one of the most comprehensive Special Education Departments in all of Northern Kentucky. That Scott has been commended for its Title IX Commitment to gender equity That Scott has seen a revival of it s drama productions That Scott regularly hosts Rock Concerts in the auditorium That Scott has a large number of academic, social, recreational, and public service clubs

4 Alumni Services The alumni association provides a locator service, reunion help, special events, and class news. Members are asked to send news as it s available. We would like to keep up with your changes, jobs, graduations, births, weddings, etc. Please encourage others to join; the larger the membership, the more we can do! Note to Members: The athletic department has approved alumni association members attending all Scott regular season athletic events at no charge. You must present your membership card which proves you have paid your dues for this year. Old cards are not valid. Your current card may expire this January. Other cards don t expire until next January depending upon when you last paid dues. If anyone is interested in special pricing for other Scott activities such as the school plays, call or Mr. A. 5 Scott Graduate and Teacher News Julie Jackson Cioffi (83) has taken a job with Lakeshore Looseleaf Corporation which is in Independence, Ky. Rich Early (83) is a project manager at American Sound and lives in Taylor Mill with his wife and year old daughter. Valerie Merck Knox (85) is now living in Arlington, Texas with her husband, Kerry and her daughter, Tasha. She is the Director of Human Resources for Medical Third Party Resources, Inc. Missy Eggleston Robinson (90) lives in the Taylor Mill/Independence area and works as a radiation technician at Mercy Hospital. Beth Mitsch Pawsat (94) has joined Scott s staff as a part time math teacher and we are happy to have her. Teachers and Administrators Dr. Robert Storer who was Scott s first Athletic Director, an Assistant Principal, and eventually Superintendent of Walton-Verona Schools retired this year. He will continue in Education working as part of the Southern Association of Secondary Schools. Kathy Williams who served as a guidance counselor at both Scott High School and Woodland Middle School retired this past year. Mike Leising who served as Scott s Assistant Principal and went on to be principal of Woodland Middle School retired at the end of this past year. Chuck Ladwig who was Scott s Assistant Principal has taken the position of principal of Woodland Middle School.
