1 Minutes of the H- Ward Science Exhibition Meeting held on The First meeting of Science Exhibition was held on Monday 9th October, 207 at Sacred Heart Boys High School Khar West. The meeting was conducted by Main Convener Ms Prema Kotian. The Principal of Sacred Heart Boys High School Fr. Thomsun welcomed all the Principals present for the meeting. The dates for Science Exhibition has been finalized as 5th, 6th and 7th December 207. Sacred Heart Boys High School, Khar West has been selected as the venue for the Exhibition. The Main Theme of the exhibition is Innovations for Sustainable Development (अवव रतवव कक सक सक ठठ नक वव न यपपररउपकक रम ). The topics for the Exhibition are as mentioned below:-.) Health & Well being १.) आरर ग यवस वव स थ य 2.) Resource management and food २.) ससरर तव यवस थव पनवअन नससरकव security 3.) Waste management and water body conservation ३.) अपव ययव यवस थव पनवजलसव ठठसस वरर धन 4.) Transport & Communication ४.) वव हततकवदळणवळण 5.) Digital & Technological Solution ५.) अस कव त मकवतव स ततसरकउपव ययर जनव 6.) Mathematical Modeling ६.) गतणतत यपसरततमव नठ All the schools have to submit the entries by 5th November, 207 between 7.30 am to 2 pm at Sacred Heart Boys High School. Two Charts and One flex banner (3 x 2 ) also should be submitted along with the entry.without Charts and Banner, Entries will not be entertained. Rs.3500/- was decided as the contribution to be paid by all the schools as the expenditure towards Science Exhibition. The said contribution can be sent to the Venue School. A Flex board (size 3 x 2 )for H Ward Gallery with non academic activities done in the school to be submitted along with the Entry forms with the name of the school printed on it. Two Charts on Mount Board (Standard Size 2 x 30 ) on any Topic given above has also to be submitted along with the entries. The Mount board should be made vertically by all the schools. There will be evaluation of these Charts.

2 Articles for E-Magazine should be mailed to 00% participation of schools is mandatory. Even if a School is not participating in the Exhibition, the contribution of Rs 3500/- has to be paid.projects earlier sent for the science exhibition should not be repeated. All the School Principals have to remain present for the Science Exhibition inaugural and valedictory function. I.C.S.E, C.B.S.E and I.G.C.S.E schools have to compulsorily participate in the Exhibition. The Seminar for giving Guidelines in connection with the Science Exhibition will be held at Sacred Heart Boys High School Khar West on 6th November from 0 am to 2 noon. The Science teachers participation is compulsory. Details of Projects and Competition are as under:- The timing of the Exhibition will be from 9.00 am to 4.oo pm Jr. Group contains students of Standard V to VIII and Sr. Group contains students of Standard IX to XII. DISPLAY OF MORE THAN ONE TEACHING AID WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. 3 Project should be submitted at the venue school from 8 am to 2 pm on 4th December 207. Projects brought after 2.pm will not be allowed to keep. 4 Project entry form from the schools must be submitted to the venue school between 7.30 am to.00 pm latest by 5th November The contribution for science exhibition of Rs.3500/- should be paid either in cash or by cheque (in favour of H WARD SCHOOLS CONVENERS) to Sacred Heart Boys High School. 5 Entry form should be submitted separately for separate project. Category should be clearly mentioned on Top of the Entry Form.

4 6 Entry forms for Quiz competition should be sent to Kamla High School and Jr College by 23rd November.. 7 The entries for Science Club and Nature Club should be sent to Sacred Heart Boys High School along with other entries of Science Exhibition. 8 Evaluation of Science Club and Nature Club will be done at Ward Level ONLY. 9 Evaluation may be done on any day. No identity of the school or students should be allowed. The projects must be displayed on all the three days. The projects which are not displayed for all the three days will not be considered for prize if selected. 0 The project must be displayed on a white table cloth. Only two (2) students should be allowed to display the project. Only 3 Minuteswillbe given for explanation of the project while judging. More than 3 minutes will be considered as disqualification. 2 Participants must maintain a dress code for uniformity [black/white or Blue/white] 3 The project code given by the project committee should be displayed near the project so that it is clearly visible. 4 For the projects requiring water, the participants should bring their required articles by themselves. 5 The projects requiring electric connection, water, dark room, open space etc. should be clearly mentioned in the entry form. 6 During the Exhibition dates, the teachers in charge must be in the room allotted to them. They should not wander here and there. 7 Trophies may be sponsored by different schools. COMPETITION This year onwards, only Quiz Competition for students will be conducted.
