You are expected to pay 60% of your fees at the time of registration for you to be legible to attend the classes. All payments must be made through any of the University s bank accounts provided in the financial requirement sheet. Date of Reporting and Registration: The check-in and registration activities will take place at MMU s Mwanza Campus located along Uhuru Street, near Mlango Mmoja on Monday, October 17, up to 31 st 2016 from 8:30 am 4:30 pm. When you come for registration please bring with you all (1) Originals of all your academic certificates and present them to the Office of the Registrar of the Branch for verification (2) Bank pay-in slips of relevant payments made at the bank and submit them to the Finance Office. Please note that in order for you to be registered at the Office of the Academic Registrar you must have paid fees as indicated in paragraph # 1 above. Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, October 31 st, 2016 at 8:00 am and 4 pm for evening sessions. Please note also that one cannot be allowed to register two weeks after commencement of classes. Orientation: The orientation program for all first year bachelor students is scheduled to be on 21 st of October All students must attend. The event program will be posted on notice boards before the set date. Academic Expectations: Consistent, methodical study will be required for you to succeed in your studies. Regular evaluations will be made throughout and at the end of each semester. General Conduct: As a student preparing for a career, you will be required to be exemplary at all times in terms of conduct and behave in a manner befitting the profession being pursued. Meals: Students who secure on-campus accommodation may plan to prepare their own meals. However, outsourced cafeteria services are available at the University s main campus. Medical Examination: To be registered as a student at MMU, you will be required to undergo medical examination by a competent and recognized medical doctor who will also complete and sign the enclosed medical certificate for you to submit to us upon arrival at MMU.
