Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S1 in September 2016). B or above in the conduct grade. Academic results: 30%; Interview: 50%; Extra-curricular activities: 20%. Orientation Activities and Healthy Life Chinese, English and Mathematics bridging courses, various extra-curricular activities are available in the summer. S.1 Parents' Day, S1 Adaptation Scheme and S.1 Education Camp are also organized. To stress the health of our students, our school has set up the Health Education Team to provide the students with a wide range of health talks, exhibitions and activities, such as Fruit Day, Talks on Balanced Diet and Infectious Disease. In order to enhance our stake-holders' knowledge on "drug abuse", we have recently organized several seminars and talks for our teachers, parents and students.

Strengthen the administration method of planning, implementing and evaluation. while boosting effecting co-operation. 2. Optimize strategies for both teaching and learning. 3. Improve students concentration, self-discipline and obedience. School Management Organisation: We employ a school-based management approach with the Principal as the head. Under the head of management, there are Studies Department, Discipline Department, Guidance and Counselling Department, Career Department, Extra-Curricular Activity Department, Moral Education Department, Civic Education Department and General Affairs Department. Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee/ Management Committee: Our school has implemented School-based Management since The School Advisory Committee was set up under the supervision of the School Management Committee. In response to the operation of the Education (Amendment) Ordinance 2004, our school also set up an Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) in February The IMC consists of school sponsoring body (SSB) representatives, the principal, teachers, parents, alumni and community members. The IMC will have 3 meetings annually in order to give the stakeholders the input in major decision making, school planning, development and the evaluation of teaching and learning effectiveness and managing of financial and human resources. Its ultimate aim is to help School Green Policy: As our school constantly stresses the importance of greening the campus, different trees and flowers are planted around the school. Additional grants for greening construction projects was now under application. In addition, we encourage our teachers, staff and students to make good use of the resources and support the recycling of resources. Learning and Teaching Plan Whole-school Language Policy: Our school has been implementing the policy of "Biliteracy and Trilingualism" to foster our students' proficiency in Chinese, English and Putonghua. The major strategies include split classes and supplementary classes after school for senior forms. In addition, drama lessons for junior forms, compulsory Putonghua lessons, morning reading scheme, English activity room, and activities organized by relevant ECA clubs and societies. Our purpose is to build up a language-rich environment in line with the school's planning, classroom teaching and extra-curricular innovations. Learning and Teaching Strategies : We strive to create a decent learning environment for the students' all-round development. Various field trips to museums, science centres and overseas study tours make learning available inside and outside of classrooms. This promotes students' self-learning ability and broadens their horizon.we expand our and use of to cater for the levels and needs of our students. It is also used in classrooms to encourage the students to gain more knowledge.reading classes in junior forms help the students develop learning and reading strategies. We encourage them to submit book reports regularly so as to broaden their horizon and develop a reading habit. In addition to the extensive reading scheme in English and Chinese, the library also organizes book exhibition and inter-house reading competition to create a reading atmosphere. Morning reading class and inter-school writing competition help reinforce students' interest in reading and their creativity. School-based Curriculum: 1. Electives: 2X Students can choose 2 elective subjects out of Curriculum highlights: In order to cater for the learning needs of the students at different levels, our school has set up different teaching strategies and utilized additional resources. For the students with learning difficulties, they will be allocated to smaller classes, following tailor-made s and attending tutorial classes so as to assist them in catching up with other students. Apart from the formal academic s, our school also stresses the mental development of the students. We constantly organize a wide range of activities through the collaboration of discipline and counseling to help the students cultivate their Self- respect and respect to others, and their attitude of obedience and cooperation. It is expected that the all-round development of the students can be achieved. Development of Key Tasks : Learning through reading: Morning reading sessions are implemented regularly for all students. In-house reading competitions and a Reading Award Scheme are held. Interactive learning through Information technology: An E-classroom with an online learning platform is established for students Project Learning: : Cross- project learning is introduced in junior forms. Moral and Civic Education:A wide range of moral and civic education activities are frequently held on a class basis. The elements of the 4 key tasks are immersed into the of individual subjects respectively. Life Planning: In order to align with the students developmental needs, our school has implemented a Life Planning Education for F.1 to F.6 students. Besides career-related learning in the classroom, students can have better career exploration by participating in various activities, namely workshops, visits, talks and work attachment. They can also integrate personal growth and change into career development and develop skills and attitudes in presenting their personal attributes, employability skills and career goals so as to achieve the aim at managing and adapting to the transition from school to work. Student Support Whole School Approach to Catering for Student Diversity: Some subjects are taught at the same time in the same form so students can be grouped into smaller classes based on their levels. Teachers can also adjust their teaching to cater for the student diversity. Our Student Supporting Team supports students of special education needs. Measures to provide adaptation for Learning and Assessment: Students' academic performance is assessed by evaluating the performance of their homework, quizzes and projects regularly, and by having 2 formal tests and 2 examinations every year. 4 Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos Home-School Co-operation: The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) has been established for more than 10 years. All the activities organized by the PTA serve the functions of communications, education and social gathering. Additionally, the school social worker regularly assists the PTA in running the Parents Workshop, namely Ways to Help Our Children Grow, which will offer the parents an opportunity to better understand and adapt to the transitional change of their children by way of participating in talks, games and role-playing activities. Other activities, for instance Parents-Children day camp or outing, sharing sessions with teachers, orientation night for HKDSE students, iced moon cake-making class, Dumpling-making class, Putonghua class, are most welcomed by parents and students. School Ethos: We organize various tutorials to cater for the needs of both the elite and remedial students. With the help of education psychologists and social workers, our counsellors organized different activities to support our students in forms of their academic and emotional needs. Furthermore, there are leadership training courses for the senior form students for their all-round development. Future Development School Development Plan: 3-year School Development Plan: 1. Teacher Professional Training and Development : Professional development days are organized by TWGHs and our school. We stressed the importance of continual training. Extra-curricular/Co-curricular Activities The four categories of extra-curricular activities are academic, interest, sports and service. There are also language week, science exhibition, moral education week, Health Education Exhibition, education camp, leadership training camp, study tour, inter-house competition, Sports Day, Inter-School Competition and summer activities. School Facilities School Facilities: School hall, library, Student self-learning Centre, special rooms (including Laboratory, Music Room, Visual Art Room, Multimedia Learning Centre, IT-Rooms, Home Economic Room, D&T Room, Audio-visual Room, Gymnasium, Student Activity Room, PTA Resources Centre ) and all classrooms equipped with air-conditioners, projectors and screens. Facility Support for Students with Special Educational Needs: Student lockers, fixed or movable ramps to connect the passageeway, elevator to each floor, lifts connecting covered playground and school office, disabled toilet.. Others Every year our school presents many awards to students, for instance, students who have had outstanding academic achievements would be awarded the Academic Achievement Award, Subject Achievement Award or the Most Improved Student Award. Students excelling in athletics or other areas would be presented the Outstanding Athlete award, or Outstanding Service Award. Other awards sponsored by the Parent Teacher Association are given to students, such as the PTA Scholarship, PTA Most Improved Student Scholarship and the PTA exemplary conduct award with good academic achievement, improvement in English subject and conduct. Furthermore, the school body would recommend students with all-round achievement to participate and compete for the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund, the Yau Tze Tin Memorial Scholarship. or the TWGHs Support Scheme for Eilte Sports and Art Students etc. In terms of exchange programmes, our school annually offers and organizes an overseas study tour for our students.
