1 PREP SCHOOL UNIFORM (YEARS 3 6) Our school uniform suppliers are SWOTS in Reigate and all uniform items listed in the Uniform List and marked with an asterisk must be purchased through them. Hair should be worn in a neat and manageable style. No hair gel, hair dye or nail varnish is permitted. Shoulder length or longer hair must be tied back and boys hair must not touch the collar or fall below their eyebrows. A named wrist watch may be worn from Year 3 upwards. Girls with pierced ears may wear gold or silver stud earrings only. These must be taken out during PE and Games. The uniform requirements, including those for shoes, must be rigorously adhered to. All items of uniform, including shoes, are compulsory unless otherwise stated. Every article must be clearly marked with the student s name. We have also enclosed a separate leaflet giving details of a scheme we belong to which enables lost property to be easily returned to the rightful owner. You might like to consider this, when arranging property labels etc We also strongly recommend that the student s initials are embroidered on the outside of games shorts/shirts for quick identification and security. THE SCHOOL CAN TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOST PROPERTY PREP SCHOOL SECOND-HAND UNIFORM SHOP We have a Second-hand Uniform Shop operating in St Joseph s Wing (ask in Prep School Office for directions and further information), which is open every Thursday during term time, between 3.15pm and 4.00pm.
