3 How Information and Communication Technologies are used to assist learning Holy Family School is a leading school in supporting teaching & learning where ICT is embedded within the curriculum. We are the pilot school for adopting new technologies within our classrooms and administration. For some years now, teachers have been supplied with laptop technologies to plan and implement ICT within their classroom curriculum. In each classroom teachers and students interface with Interactive Public environments such as Interactive Whiteboards, total wireless network throughout the school, hand held devices as well as class computers. Our next stage of development will be planning for the introduction of "one to one" devices for each student to use on a regular basis each day. Staff professional development has been and will continue to be the most significant focus for our school on supporting teachers to embed ICLT within the curriculum. Social climate The social climate of the school is one of positive behaviours. The community of Holy Family School believes: that co-education is one of the most important ways in which the Church fulfils its commitment to the dignity of the person and the building of a Christian community; that Catholic schools afford the fullest and the best opportunities to provide a Christian education for both boys and girls; that religion is related to daily life; that community is fostered by the Eucharist, a sign of love and concern; that within the Christian School Community students will have the opportunity to acquire a sense of responsibility for others, as their brothers and sisters in Christ. It is also our belief that our school is a co-educational institution charged with the development of the total person of each unique child. This development encompasses the intellectual, moral, social, physical and emotional facets of each child. Parent, student and teacher satisfaction with the school At Holy Family we welcome parental feedback & involvement in the education of their children. In teachers & parents were surveyed for feedback on both the school annual goals and achievements as well as for the Principal Appraisal process. Feedback for both processes was very positive and as a result this has enabled more focused directions for future development for our school. Feedback on parent, teacher and student satisfaction with the school was also obtained from the annual school renewal cyclical review of the following components: 1.
