A communicaion was received from he Faculies i n 1162 reference o The John Oliver Memorial Scholarship Fund. In accordance wih he leer of Presiden Kline k o Mr. Charles Bishop, Secreary of he Vicori a Liberal Associaion under dae of April 14h, h e Universiy Commiee on Prizes and Scholarships woul d recommend he following as suiable erms on whic h he proposed Fund migh be offered o, and accepe d by, he Universiy. I may be graned on occasion o more han one graduae suden and possibly for mor e han one research projec. A holder mus be a graduae of The Universiy of Briish Columbia, no necessarily in he Faculy of Agriculure, bu h e research work mus be done in problems of primar y ineres in A3*riculure. The work may be pursued i n any Universiy, no necessarily in The Universiy o f Briish Columbia. The award will be made upon h e recommendaion of he Universiy Commiee on Prize s and Scholarships, acing in consulaion wih h e Faculy of Agriculure. If hese erms are acceped by he Donors and b y he Universiy, he Commiee on Prizes and Scholar - ships will submi for approval of Donors and Senae a suiable saemen for inclusion in he nex Universiy Calendar The quesion was raised as o wheher or no h e erms under which a scholarship is esablished wer e final and unchangeable, or wheher here should no b e a saue enabling Senae o open he quesion if a an y ime circumsances should warran.
