I hope everyone enjoyed the half term break, we have lots of events planned for this term making it another busy term. Estyn Inspection I am pleased to inform you that the school is being inspected by Estyn during the week of 27th to 30th March Please see attached the letter from Estyn explaining the process. A questionnaire seeking parents views can be completed at All questionnaires must be completed by 10th March All parents are invited to meet with the inspectors at school on Monday 27th March 2017 at 3:45pm. 2 World Book Day We will be celebrating World Book Day on Monday 6th March 2017, by asking pupils & staff) to come in their favourite book character and bring their favourite book to read. During the day the children will have the opportunity to share with each other their favourite books. See-Saw Saw In school pupils have been using See-Saw as a means of capturing and reflecting on their learning in real time using i-pads. The children really enjoy using the tool and we would now like to provide parents with the opportunity to view your children s work by downloading the See-Saw app. Only you have access to your child s work and all content is stored securely. We are inviting all parents to our See-Saw drop in sessions to be held on Tuesday 7th March Session 1 3:30pm-4:00pm Session 2 5:00pm-5:30pm During these sessions you will receive directions on how to download and sign up for your child s See-Saw account. We encourage as many parents as possible to come and find out about this exciting and creative way of sharing in your child s learning. Page 2

3 EXTRA CURRICULAR SCHOOL ACTIVITIES All our extra curricular School activities take place in School either during Lunchtime or after school from 3:15pm to 4:15pm. Activities are run by School staff; Parent Volunteers; and paid activities are run by outside agencies. Please see below this half terms timetable. 4 All our assemblies take place on a Friday Morning at 11am (Unless notified otherwise). Parents and Grandparents of the children in the assembly are welcome to come and watch them.
