4 Registration Registration for the school year is in progress. We offer EdChoice Scholarships based on income. Please contact the school office at to set up an appointment to visit the school or for additional information regarding registration. Enrichment Zip Line Students in Enrichment classes grades 6-8 had a project in which they had to design a device that at a certain point shoots out a marble that would hit a target. The target had different points marked. The group with the highest number of points after three tries won. All of the devices were quite creative! Afterschool Acting Class The Afterschool Acting Class performed Little Red Riding Hood s Granny for the school. The play was based on Little Red Riding Hood but had a comic flair. The students did an amazing job! Design an Ad The Chronicle Telegram hosts a yearly ad contest where they partner with local businesses and schools. Students in fifth grade design an ad for a business and judges choose the best ad for each business. Victoria, one of our fifth graders was chosen as a winner for Jack Matia s ad. Congratulations Victoria! Look for us on Facebook at St. Mary School Elyria
5 Zip Line Activity On Friday the junior high were given a task of creating a device that would hold a ping pong ball that also has to travel down a zip line in 4 seconds or less. They were given the following materials to use: tape, 4 cups, 4 washers, cardboard, and straws. They are still in the design phase; results to follow after Easter break. Dance Seventh and eighth graders having fun at the St. Patrick s Day Dance. Happy Birthday, Father Charlie! Texas Roadhouse If each student brought back their Wednesday folder Thursday they received a special Easter treat from Texas Roadhouse. Thank you, Texas Roadhouse!
