1 2019 FEES SCHEDULE Tax Invoice/Statements will be ed or posted early Payment is required by end of Term One, DONATIONS All donations are voluntary ACTIVITY (optional) This donation supports and subsidises student activities. $50.00 Along with most other schools, Tuakau College needs donations to enhance government funding. Donations are used to provide students with extras such as those outlined above. We ask that parents consider contributing towards this. PTA (optional) A donation assists the PTA in its endeavours to raise funds in general and for specific events or items. Past contributions include shade sails, electronic sign, school van, graduation dinner, etc. $3.00 BUS FARES & ID CARDS Fares payable by the end of the second week of Term 1 and end of the first week of Terms 2 & 3 Pukekohe Bus Card per annum (includes 1 ticket) Bus to be paid in full by Term 3 can be paid in three equal instalments in Terms 1, 2 & 3. $ Bus Card New, Replacement or Single Ride $6.00 Student ID $10.00 Please note: A Transport Entitlement Zone (TEZ) determines whether a student is eligible for transport to and from school. Students must meet distance criteria to their nearest appropriate school.

2 NCEA EXAM FEES Students sitting NCEA Levels 1, 2 & 3 exams will be invoiced around 1 May NCEA exam fees are set by NZQA. The fee is to be paid directly to the school by the beginning of July After this date the fee should be paid directly to NZQA and may incur a penalty set by NZQA. Please ensure NCEA fees are paid on time to avoid the penalty. Do you qualify for Financial Assistance? If you have a current Benefit Number or Community Services card you may qualify for financial assistance. Forms are available from Mr Walia or Mrs Burnett, Accounts Office. OPTIONAL Digital School Magazine Annual $1.99 Senior Common Room Per Term $20.00 SUBJECT CHARGES Subject Charges are for the take-home components of a subject. By paying these you can take home the items you made e.g. art boards, baking, etc. Subject Charges are to be paid in full in Term 1, or a payment plan set in place. Take-home components remain the property of Tuakau College until payment is received in full. If compulsory fees remain unpaid after Term 1, students cannot attend, or participate in, trips, camps, sports activities, senior ball, graduation dinner and other college activities, unless a regular automatic payment is in place. AUTOMATIC PAYMENT OPTION The college offers an automatic payment option where compulsory fees, camp fees, trip fees, bus fees, etc. These can be paid over a period of time.
