TONIGHT is a huge night for Grace Christian School - PLEASE MAKE PLANS TO JOIN US! Ther e has never been a time when Chr istian education is mor e important. I m so thankful that God s plan for our kids is to give them a future and a hope. God has been so good to us at Grace. As you look toward an uncertain future for Biblical values in this world, I hope that you will agree there s nowhere to go but Grace! Join us tonight at 7 p.m. for us to share our vision for the next year. This event will kickoff the Re-Enrollment season that will run for four weeks, through Thursday, March 1st, at 4pm. Don t forget that parents in attendance this evening will also receive FREE MYSCHOOLWORX access for the school year. There will be additional incentives for parents and students alike! Additional Incentives: Parents will receive FREE MYSCHOOLWORX access for the school year. Students who attend can participate in a casual dress day TOMORROW, February nd. Teachers will be awarded an extra personal day, if they have 100% student/parent participation in their classroom. The theme is Nowhere to Go But Grace, and elementary students will have a special part in the program. After the program, students will have fun time in the gym or their classroom. SPRING BOOK FAIR Our annual spring book fair begins next month, March 4th-8th. This event provides a good opportunity for you, our parents, to view new books and materials that are available for sale to our students in grades K3-8. Books make wonderful gifts for all ages! If anyone would be willing to volunteer and assist with the book fair, please call the school office on Thursdays and talk to Linda Adkins. LIFETOUCH PICTURES LifeTouch Studios will be on campus Tuesday, February 6th, to take spring pictures of all students and cap and gown pictures of seniors. ALL STUDENTS WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHED FOR SPRING PICTURES. Order forms and payment are not required in advance; HOWEVER, parents need to select a pose for their child s portrait. Forms will be sent home with students, and an extra form can be found on page 4 of this week s Update. When the finished portrait packages come in, they will be sent home with each student for parental approval. CAP AND GOWN PICTURES: Our Senior students will also have the opportunity to have their pictures taken with a cap and gown (provided by LifeTouch). A separate order for this picture session will be sent home with students and is due back, WITH PAYMENT, before the picture can be taken. STRAWBERRY SALE The Strawberry Sale began last week, February 15th, and will continue through March 5th, and may be picked up on March 1th from 11-5:30 in Fellowship C. The cost is $6 for a full flat (8-1lb containers), or $13 for a half flat (4-1lb containers). If you would like to pay with a credit card, the cost is $6.65 and $ This is a simple way to provide a delicious treat to our school families! LATE START MONDAY, FEBRUARY Our staff will be meeting at 7:40am to continue working on integrating technology into the curriculum. Thanks for allowing us this time to help improve your students' education. Early care will be available to our families prior to 10am on this day at no additional costs.

3 Varsity Tournament Results Congratulations to our Varsity girls on their FIRST place finish in the WVCAT Tournament and bringing home a banner! Congratulations to Samantha Wells and Emily Hutchinson for being named to the All Tournament Team and Hazley Matthews for being named Tournament MVP! Congratulations to our Varsity boys for finishing their season in a hard fought game in the third round and an AMAZING last second three point shot which won their final game in the WVCAT Tournament.
