2 Activities Conducted Under CMP (APRIL-AUGUST) SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAMME Orientation Programme for Class-I was conducted on 11th April,2018 in which objectives of the School Readiness Programme and brief report of activities were discussed through power point presentation.the new members of the Vidyalaya i.e the tiny tots of Class-I were given warm welcome in the morning assembly. CCA- Children of Class-I were distributed into four houses. New members of Students Council were elected and investiture ceremony was held in the morning assembly.activities (drawing,calligraphy,rangoli,action song)were conducted as per CCA calendar with maximum participation of students in all the four houses. TLM for students are purchased and distributed for various activities and subject wise worksheets are given for classes I and II As per the letter of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan (HQ) to organize Saturday as Funday for students of primary section the said programme is planned and executed in the Vidyalaya. Except second Saturdays, all Saturdays are a day packed with fun and recreational activities for children. To inculcate the feeling of patriotism among our students towards our country and soldiers, around 170 Rakhis and 21 hand written messages were handed over by the students of primary section which were couriered to the jawans on the LOC and Border on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. 72 nd Independence day was celebrated in which the primary children participated in group song(patriotic) in the vidyalaya and at ONGC. Periodic test-i have been conducted as per schedule of KVS and open day was held on 18/08/18.CCE cycles are conducted monthly in Classes-I& II Educational CDs, and Films are shown class wise. Under awareness programme -the students are motivated to plant more trees, save water,eat healthy food and avoid plastics. Medical checkup for all the classes was conducted in the month of August.
