5 3B(f). PAST PERFORMANCE OF THE SCHOOL IN DIFFERENT FIELDS: i) Academics: The academics at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth follow the CBSE guidelines and curriculum framework. We at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth remain abreast with the latest changes forwarded by the Board and incorporate them in true spirit. The XII board result of the session reflected the sound pedagogical practices followed by Aadharshila Vidyapeeth. The School recorded a 100% result with the highest aggregate score in Commerce being 96% and in Science being 95.8%. Aadharshila Vidyapeeth felt honoured to host the Inter District Level Hindi Debate Competition. Remarkable achievements by Aadharshilians include III position in District Level Essay Writing Competition (Hindi), I position in Zonal Poem Recitation (English), II position in Zonal Essay Writing Competition (Hindi) and Zonal Debate Competition (Junior) (English) and III position in Zonal Debate Competition (Senior) (English). Other include participation in District Level Poem Recitation (English), District Level Debate Competition (English), District Level Essay Writing Competition (Hind) and CBSE Code to Learn. Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized exceptional exhibitions on Social Science- Socio Vistas-2017 on 12 th and 13 th May, 2017, Science Exhibition- We Gyaan-2017 on 21 st and 22 nd July, 2017 and Maths Exhibition- Maths Expo-2017 on 25 th and 26 th August, To instill in students a better understanding of their own selves, trips and excursions like Picnic to Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, National Zoological Park, Japanese Park, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, India Gate and Excursion to National Science Centre were organised. To assess students energy, creativity and diligence various literary activities and special assemblies were organized like Social Science Week, Science and Van Mahotsav Week, Math Week, Hindi and Sanskrit Week, English and German Week and Sports Week. Annual Health Check-up of the students of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth was done for the year Contribution to Helpage by Aadharshilians is an expression of love and responsibility and a way to give back to the society.

6 ii) Sports Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura lays equal emphasis sports and physicals as much as on academics. The Sports followed at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth thoroughly are Judo, Volley Ball, Table Tennis, Basketball and Yoga. The School facilitates the Sports endeavours of Aadharshilians by supporting them academically through extra classes; so that our Sports Stars are able to balance their sports achievements with their academic goals. The School felt honoured to host Aadharshila Inter School Volleyball Tournament, Aadharshila Inter School Judo Tournament and Aadharshila Inter School Kho-Kho Tournament in the month of April 2017 & May 2017, wherein Aadharshilians bagged various medals. The School created the whole atmosphere with vigour & vibrant spirit. The students participated in various sports activities throughout the year at National, District and Zonal levels. Aadharshila Vidyapeeth felt proud to participate in National Judo Tournament and won 03 Bronze Medals, CBSE Cluster Judo and won 01 Silver and 04 Bronze, CBSE National Table Tennis Tournament, Inter Zonal Judo Tournament in which Aadharshilians bagged 01 Silver and 02 Bronze, Inter Zonal Skating Tournament where Aadharshila won Gold Medal, Zonal Volleyball Tournament and won I position in Junior (Boys) and III position in Sub Junior Girls category. Other participations includes Zonal Judo in which Aadharshilians won 07 Gold, 6 Silver and 6 Bronze, CBSE Table Tennis Tournament. Sports Week and Annual Sports Days were organized in the month of November, The Physical instructors constantly harness the energies and skills of the students to carve out dedicated sportsmen out of the young Aadharshilians.

7 iii) Cultural Activities: Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura has a vibrant ethos of cultural activities in conjunction with the academics. These pursuits are made through intra class and inter class competition at the junior level and through Inter House events at middle and senior levels. Students also participate in Inter School competitions regularly and diligently. The young Aadharshilians displayed their proficiency in cultural fields by winning various Zonal, Inter Zonal and CBSE i.e.district Level Mono Acting Competition (III position), Zonal Mono Acting competition (Ist Position), Zonal One Act Play (III position), Zonal Collage Making Competition (Junior & Senior) (III Position), also participated in District Level Collage Making Competition (Junior and Senior) and CBSE Painting Competition on Energy Conservation. Various Literary activities like Declamation, Debate, Extempore, Story Telling, Poem Recitation, Quiz, Character Dramatization Competition, Logo Designing, Flash Animation, Circuit Making, Advertisement Competition, Radio Jockey, Movie and PPT Making Competition were organized to improve skills of young scholars. Environmental Campaigns were also organized on World Heritage Day, Earth Day and Van Mahotsav. The Investiture Ceremony of the School was held in July, 2017 and the School swore in its officebearers. Hawans are organized on a regular basis to seek the blessings of Almighty. Day Camps, Monsoon Carnivals, enlivened the spirits and enthused the students with joy and energy. School celebrates all the festivals and functions of National and religious importance. The Annual Days were celebrated with fest and fevour in the month of October, 2017.

Parameters (Admission Criteria of 100 Points): The following Parameters for General Category / Open Seats were unanimously approved by the Managing Committee of the School: a) Distance / Neighbourhood : 70 Points b) Sibling Studying in Aadharshila Vidyapeeth : 30 Points Km Km 07.1 Km and above : 70 Points : 50 Points : 30 Points 3D. Supporting Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission (for Open Seats): 1. The Fee (Registration Fee) is Rs. 25/- only (Non-Refundable), to be paid in cash. 2. (i) Photocopy of Birth Certificate of the Child issued by Municipal Corporation of Delhi, or any other authorized agency. (ii) Proof of Residence (any one) : Ration Card / Smart Card issued in the name of parents (Mother/Father having name of child). Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents. Voter I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parents. Electricity bill / MTNL telephone bill / Water bill / Passport (issued by the Government of India) in the name of any of the parents or child. Aadhar Card / UID card issued (issued by the Government of India) in the name of any of the parent. (iii) Proof of Sibling of the student studying in Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, CD-Block, Pitampura, Delhi.
