If you have not enrolled your child, please do that right away. The re enrollment process is a lot faster this year and soon registration fees will apply. Congratulations to our 2nd graders who made their First Reconciliation this past Tuesday evening. They are as pure as the snow that just fell! A big thank you to Mrs. Flynn and Mrs. Bilski for their work in preparing the children for this Sacrament. We're busy as can be preparing for Learning Festival and Catholic Schools Week here at St. Charles. I hope that you all join us for Mass at 10:00 AM this Sunday and then come over for Learning Festival and a pancake breakfast hosted by our Knights of Columbus. There are many amazing projects all over the school. One new featured project is the 8th grade 9 Square project in the gymnasium. Tonight is Kindergarten Round Up! This event will be in our cafeteria. Doors open at 6:15 with the presentation beginning at 6:30. Please continue to share St. Charles with your friends and neighbors. We're very excited to bring in another large Kindergarten class! God bless you, Danny Kieffer Kindergarten Round Up is TONIGHT! Invite everyone you know who will have a kindergartener next year to bring their child and join us for our Kindergarten Round Up at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 25. This is a time to meet the teachers, tour the school, and learn more about the St. Charles kindergarten experience. Your invitation is the best way to get the word out about our school! 2 School is not in Session for Staff Development ~ Friday, January 26 Catholic Schools Week Schedule ~ Sunday, January 28 Friday, February 2 Join us on Sunday to celebrate the gift of Catholic Schools. Begin with 10:00 Mass followed by the Learning Festival. Savor our students hard work, enjoy a pancake breakfast, support life by shopping at the Bake Sale, check out the 9 Square game in the gym, purchase some used uniforms or some Spirit Wear, find a great book deal in the library, and, if you haven t already done so, enroll for the upcoming school year! Our Catholic Schools Week link will help you navigate uniform and out of uniform days and all the special events the week holds. (Special clothing options almost every day!) The permission forms for the Catholic Schools Week field trips can be found at the links below. K 8th graders need to return the Wooddale Fun Zone permission form: content/uploads/sites/34/2018/01/wooddalefunzone Field Trip2018.pdf K 4th graders need to return the Elementary River Village field trip form: River Village 5th 8th graders need to return the Feed My Starving Children permission form: FMSC Field trip permission forms are due Monday, January 29, or better yet, drop them off with the office staff in the cafeteria at Learning Festival! Book Some Time for the Book Fair! During Learning Festival, the school library will be teeming with tomes even more than usual: stop by from 11 1pm for the Usborne Book Fair! Browse through the books! Peruse the paradise of pages! Revel in reading! If you need another reason to stop by, a portion of the profits comes back to the school, enabling us to stock the library and classrooms with quality books. All applications are completed online at this site: Tuition Information for is posted on our website. Art Club Registration Open for Grade K 2 ~ Sign up now (Art Club starts Wednesday, February 7, and runs through Wednesday, March 14) Art Club for grades K 2 will take place on six Wednesdays from 2:45 4:00 PM. The cost is $35. Please note: There is a 20 student limit for this session. If we have enough interest, a second session will be opened on Thursdays.
