2 The phase VIII of the Urja Mela, titled Urja Mela: Umang 2015 was held at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, FU Block, Pitampura on December, 10, 2015, culminating into prize distribution and displays at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on December, 11, Over 1,200 Delhi school children and teachers from 163 government and public schools took part in the event, by participating in various competitions like nukkad natak, science model display and painting competition organized on the theme: Energy Conservation, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
