Mrs Christina Trypis came to Our Lady s School in 2009 and has worked as a classroom teacher and over the last four years as Learning and Teaching/Student Wellbeing Leader. Mrs Trypis has been an innovative and professional educator who has worked tirelessly and passionately to improve both student learning and student wellbeing. On behalf of the Our Lady s school community I give her our heartfelt thanks for her immense care and dedication to the children, families and staff of Our Lady s School. Mrs Trypis is leaving Our Lady s to do some travelling around Australia with her husband, pursue some further study and perhaps even embark on her long held dream to write a book! Mrs Trypis we will be the first to buy your book! We wish you all the very best of luck and God s blessings as you begin your new journey. We will miss you. Miss Lynda Ferrara started at Our Lady s school in 2015 as a Graduate Teacher and over the year and a half that she has been a staff member of our school we have seen her blossom into a confident and dedicated educator. Miss Ferrara has shared many of her excellent dancing skills with the students and helped to create the Glee Club which is offered as an alternative activity for students during lunchtime. We very much appreciate the time and energy you put into all you do. Miss Ferrara will be embarking on a unique opportunity to participate in Professional Development in London which will include teaching in a variety of different schools. She will also spend some time travelling throughout Europe. We wish Miss Ferrara all the very best in all her future endeavours and sincerely thank her for all the care and excellent education she has provided for the children under her care. Miss Ferrara we wish you all the very best of luck and God s blessings as you begin a new chapter of your life. We will miss you. Our Teachers Jesus, when you lived on earth, people called you Teacher. Our teachers are like you when they teach us about God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - about Mary, about heaven, about angels, about saints, about being good, about sin, about suffering, about death, about praying, about adding up, about spelling, about writing, about computers, and lots of other things. Help our teachers as they work hard to teach us, help them when they are tired or worried, give them lots of fun in being teachers. Please bless our teachers and their families.

Special thanks to the helpers and Parents and Friends Committee for all their hard work in setting up, running the stall during the day and the packing up at the end of the day.

School Review Update As you are aware all schools undertake a very thorough review every four years.

The reviewers, Christine Wakeling and Mary Lovelock have been working in our school during this week.

Thank you to everyone who bought a sausage and came to say hello, because of you the.. Parents and Friends have raised over $ ! Special thanks to the helpers and Parents and Friends Committee for all their hard work in setting up, running the stall during the day and the packing up at the end of the day. A special thank you also to the parents who donated money - Rebecca Farmer, Justine Webster and Suzy McNaughton. This money helped to cover much of the cost of the items. School Review Update As you are aware all schools undertake a very thorough review every four years. The school is reviewed in the following five spheres of schooling: Education in Faith Learning and Teaching Student Wellbeing Leadership and Management School Community. The reviewers, Christine Wakeling and Mary Lovelock have been working in our school during this week. On Tuesday they met with diverse members of our school community including: students, staff, parents and Father Peter. On Thursday they met with the Review Panel to set directions for the school over the next four years. After the school holidays they will present their report. The feedback we have received from the reviewers has been very positive in all the five spheres of schooling. The review process has been a very positive experience which will renew the school and re-imagine an even better future for our school and all who come here. Afternoon Tea and the Daily Activities may change due to circumstances on any given day. Our program is designed for children of different ages & differences. Outside play is encouraged when the weather is fine. Children have a choice to participate in inside or outside activities enrolments are open now and you can fill the enrolment forms online from our website, before your child attends the session.
