This week we are honoring a very special group of individuals who have an incredible impact on the students at Farwell our Farwell Classified Employees! These are the fine professionals who serve your children every day administrative assistants, para-educators, custodians, and cooks. We simply could not function at Farwell without their support. These caring people spend countless hours making sure Farwell stays safe, clean and runs smoothly. Most importantly, they are deeply committed to our Farwell students and supporting them to have a positive experience in every part of our school. THANK YOU to our dedicated Farwell Classified Employees. The unfortunate November windstorm impacted all of us in many ways. We were unable to hold our November parent-teacher conferences, and our Farwell staff has greatly missed not connecting with the parents of our students. We are now focused on preparing for the spring conferences that will be held March 28 April 1, Please call the school to schedule your conferences. The times are filling up, so please call as soon as possible. It is important to partner with your child's teacher to ensure your child is making progress in reaching their learning goals. Thanks for your support. Farwell Elementary Our third through sixth grade students will be taking the state testing in April and May. The state test is called the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA). There is a page in this newsletter that shows the testing schedule for each grade level. Please schedule appointments around the testing days if possible. Your child will do the best if they test in their classroom with the other students. Thanks for your support. If you have questions about the testing please ask your child's teacher at conference time. Here's wishing you and your family a wonderful spring season.
