WHAT: Catholic Schools Week is an annual event allowing Catholic schools across the nation to celebrate a great academic product, wrapped in our unique Catholic culture WHY: The year 2019 marks the 119 th year of educating children in the Catholic tradition here at Our Lady of Perpetual Help PURPOSE: Focus is on marketing our school with the goal of maintaining our enrollment in all grade levels and celebrating our alumni WHEN: (Next 3 slides) Please mark these dates on your calendar and feel free to attend any or all of the events. THURSDAY, JAN. 24 Set-up Cafeteria for Science Fair After School Care will be held in the gym from 3:45 6:00 pm. FRIDAY, JAN. 25 Science Fair in Cafeteria - NO CAFETERIA SERVICE Morning Care will be held in the gym from 7:00 7:45 am. After School Care will be held in the gym from 3:45 6:00 pm. SATURDAY, JAN. 26 Khaki & Plaid Gala SUNDAY, JAN. 27 Celebrating Our Parish - OLPH Student Showcase, 10:30-11:45 am in the Cafeteria, Science fair projects will be displayed - Liturgy at 12:00 pm marks the official opening of Catholic Schools Week. Faculty, school families, and students are lectors, gift bearers, and choir members. Plan to attend as a family; have your students wear their uniforms so they may shine in the crowd! Students who wear their uniform will earn a free dress pass for a later date. - OLPH School and CDC Open House, 1:00-2:30 pm - OLPH School & CDC Alumni Tours & Social, 1:00-2:30 pm 11 of 25

Students will make posters/cards for city leaders & Ministry Leads including leads of Pastoral Council, Finance Council, Endowment, Building Board - Classroom Door Decorating Contest Ongoing TUESDAY, JAN. 29 Celebrating Our Students - Free Dress for all students K-8, Pajama Day for K3 & K4-8 th Graders run the school (K3-8), ALL DAY - No Homework!!!! - Student vs Faculty Basketball Game, 2:30 pm (1 st Qtr. B Girls, 2 nd Qtr. B Boys, 3 rd Qtr. A Girls, 4 th Qtr. Please pack a picnic lunch for yourself and your child; parents meet their child in the gym - Judging for Door Decorating Contest held FRIDAY, FEB. 1 Celebrating Grandparents, Faculty and Staff. Noon Dismissal. School Uniform Dress (K-8 Mass Attire / CDC students wear Wildcat Cub T-shirt) School Mass, 8:30am, Church. Grandparents are recognized during Mass. After Mass, the guests are invited to visit the students classrooms FIRST. Coffee, juice, and doughnuts will be in the cafeteria. Students with last names A-L will go to the cafeteria first Then students with last names M-Z will take their guests to cafeteria from K3 & K4 Students Grandparents can go directly to the CDC for coffee, juice, and doughnuts. Students whose grandparents cannot attend will be treated to doughnuts in the classroom. Early Dismissal at 12p. NO CAFETERIA SERVICE. Extended Day is open until 6p.
