9 JPLT Meeting There will be a JPLT meeting this week on Friday at Pupils should meet Miss Stewart in the Forum. This is to ensure all Christmas Stocking have been returned to the Staffroom as well as to complete an evaluation on mental health. There will be a further JPLT meeting at house time next Thursday, 19th December All JPLT members should report directly to the forum.

10 Gaelic Pupils S4/S5/S6 Gaelic pupils who need to re-record their lines for FilmG should meet in B203 at the start of lunch on Wednesday 12th December. Pupils involved: Thomas Young Molly Cossar Rhona Neary Saoirse McLennan The above pupils should meet in B203 at house time on Thursday 13th December to finish off any outstanding recordings. S1 pupils (Abigail Campbell, James Russell and Alistair Murray) Please meet in B203 at house time on the 13th of December to record your FilmG lines for your animation project. Thomas Young (S5) will be there to operate the camera. If you have questions please see Miss Howitt in class time."

17 Anyone interested in helping out with a piece of work looking into how young people access mental health support in Scotland and how things could potentially be improved. This is being done through the Public Petitions Committee. We re running an online discussion at the moment and are looking for the views of young people in Scotland, as well as parents/carers and health professionals on this topic. 18 DGS Christmas Stocking House Class Challenge This year, DGS, led by the Junior Pupil Leadership Team, will give back to our local community at Christmas time by providing disadvantaged young people with a Christmas stocking to open on Christmas Day. You will remember that last year, pupils and staff donated food which then was donated to our local food bank, supporting those in need of food during the Christmas holidays. This year we are looking for you to donate small gifts or items for a specific age range which you will place in your house class stocking. This is our opportunity to give back to our community and to make a difference to the lives of children and young people, who might otherwise have nothing special to look forward to. Each House Class will shortly be provided with a stocking and an age range for the stocking. House Points will be awarded to the first five classes who get their stocking filled!
