4 UNIFORM OVERVIEW 2017 Dunraven is a uniform school and we ask parents to support us by ensuring that their children wear the uniform correctly at all times. We have a strict uniform policy, any student not wearing the correct uniform in a smart and orderly manner may be sent home. 5 UNIFORM OVERVIEW 2017 Please note that zipped hooded tops and fleeces are not permitted. Jewellery: We remind you of the dangers of certain items of jewellery, including earrings. Only one pair of small studs (no bigger than 4mm in diameter) may be worn by those with pierced ears (in earlobes ). No other jewellery is permitted. Facial piercings are not allowed. General Appearance: We expect students to look formal and smart in all aspects of their appearance. Nail varnish is not permitted. Nail extensions / false nails / long nails are not permitted. Excessive makeup is not permitted. Hair colour should be natural. Hair accessories must be in the school colours (yellow, blue, white) and of modest design The uniform must be worn in a neat and tidy manner at all times, including to and from school eg shirt tucked in and tie worn to the correct length. Personal Items: Mobile phones, music players, headphones and valuable items are not permitted to be used, or seen, on site and will be confiscated immediately if visible. Please note: if items listed as purchase from the school are bought from any other, families must expect that their children will be sent home until the correct item is purchased. We believe that by supplying the uniform direct from Dunraven School provides quality garments that are affordable and represent very good value for money.
