2 Assembly theme this week Our school value this half term is Respect and the theme for assemblies this week is as follows: School Sickness As you are aware there has been a sickness bug during school this week. Please continue to keep children off school who are showing symptoms and ensure that they do not return to school until 48 hours after the last bout of sickness or diarrhoea. School will contact parents to collect pupils who say they have been sick at home. The school is having a deep clean which started on Thursday evening and will continue throughout the weekend. All classrooms have been supplied with antibacterial soap and teachers will be ensuring pupils wash their hands regularly throughout the day.
3 School Christmas Performances Tickets are now on sale for the Christmas performances, letters were sent home with pupils earlier in the week. Key Stage One A Little Bird Told Me Tuesday 19th December 9.30am and 2.00pm Key Stage Two Christmas Around the World Thursday 21st December 9.30am and 2.00pm Tickets are 1 each, tickets are limited to two per family in total initially due to strict fire regulations dictating the number of people allowed in the school hall. Nursery children will perform in their normal session so please ensure you request the appropriate ticket. Tickets will be distributed to pupils to bring home. School Christmas Dinner Thursday 14th December The Christmas meal order forms have been sent home with pupils. Please ensure their order is returned to the school office by Thursday 7th December. The cost of the dinner is 1.50, please send payment in an envelope with the pupils name and content to school week commencing 11/12/17. Many Thanks Christmas Jumper Day On Thursday 14th December we are taking part in Christmas Jumper day. It is in aid of Save of the Children with a suggested donation of 1.00.
4 Parent/Carer Responsibility Reminder that before and after school pupils are the responsibility of parents/carers whilst on the playground. Please ensure that pupils do not use the play equipment and multi-use games area this is very slippery especially first thing in a morning. Nuts Please ensure that no nuts or nut products are sent in to school for snacks or lunch. Holy Communion As the first Holy Communion had to be cancelled, it will be re-arranged for in the New Year. Invitations will be sent out to parents as soon as a date has been confirmed. PFA News As you are all aware the Christmas Fair had to be cancelled this evening due to the current sickness bug at school. We will inform you of a new date as soon as possible. School Disco - Thursday 21st December. Thank you for all of the Christmas Jars sent in to school. The winners will be announced shortly.
