Dad s and other carers are invited to come and grab a coffee and have a bat on the cricket pitch, a kick of the ball or play with lots of other equipment. The P and C is offering one free coffee voucher for each family. Coffee and Play Enrolment for 2019 Next Wednesday is our final Coffee and Play morning. It will be at 9.15am in the Hall. In Term 4 the children who are starting school in 2019 will meet their senior buddy and have their formal orientation to big school. Any child who is expecting to commence school in 2019 who is not enrolled yet, will need to have their paperwork in so that a buddy can be allocated. Thanking our SASS employees Next Week is SASS Recognition Week. Our SASS staff are the backbone of our school- Louise, Michelle, Brenda in the office, Bruce our GA, Cathy and Nat our Learning Support Aides and Jo our library assistant. Please make an effort to thank them next week if you need to pop in to the office or the playground. I am always amazed by their patience, their forethought and their quality of service to the students, their families and the staff. We are very fortunate to have so many caring and hard-working SASS employees in the one place. Lucky Terrey Hills! 2 Sport Zone Athletics Congratulations to all Zone Athletics competitors who braved the blustery conditions down at Narrabeen Athletics Track on Monday and represented our school in spirit, voice and action. A warm thank you to all the parent helpers who assisted throughout the day. Whether it be our terrific team managers, or magnificent field event marshals, your efforts made the running of the day s events smooth and enjoyable for all. A special congratulations to Billy P, Lucas L, Ryan S and Declan B who will be representing our Zone at the Area Athletics Carnival at Homebush on Mon 17 th September. PSSA This week students in Years 3-6 will be trialling for the next season of PSSA sport. These sports will consist of Tag (Years 3-4 boys and girls), Cricket (Years 3-6 girls), Softball (Years 5-6 boys), T-ball (Years 3-5 boys) and School Sport. As soon as last season s results come to hand we will pass these on.

Father s and Special Persons Day Gift Stall Tomorrow Thursday 30 th August students will have the opportunity to purchase a small gift for their Father or special person. Gifts will be $5 each and children should bring their money in an envelope on the day.

We still need one more volunteer on a Wednesday afternoon once a month from pm. We have two long time volunteers leaving next week.
