1 OUTREACH ACTIVITIES GILGIT BALTISTAN ORGANIZED BY IBA KARACHI IN GILGIT, GHANCHE(KHAPLU), & SKARDU October 14-22, 2017 IBA Karachi organized outreach activities in Gilgit Baltistan, Skardu, and Ghanche (Khaplu) districts with the help of OGDCL Pakistan. IBA team has conducted information, awareness and career counseling sessions with the aim to encourage talented & deserving students of HSSC Level-I and HSSC Level-II for the higher studies and to brief them about scholarship opportunity provided by IHSAN TRUST and IBA Karachi in the form of IBA IT National Talent Hunt Program- Batch We are pleased to share that we have successfully organized information & awareness sessions in different colleges of Gilgit, Skardu, and Ghanche (Khaplu) districts from October 14 to 22, During the outreach activities, 1500 students have attended our sessions. The main objective of outreach activities were to create awareness about the opportunity available to the talented and deserving students of Matric, HSSC Level-I and HSSC Level-II, who are facing financial constraints. IBA team representative Syed Rizwan Ali Bukhari (Assistant Manager- Talent Hunt Programs) have conducted information & awareness sessions in colleges and gave them a brief introduction about the IBA Karachi and IBA-IT National Talent Hunt Program with the focus on; Application Process, Selection Process, Facilities available and Career growth & Opportunities For the students through the IBA-IT National Talent Hunt Program Batch We have also shared success stories of our existing students who are currently enrolled in different programs at IBA Karachi to motivate the participants. We are thankful to IHSAN TRUST, Deputy Director Colleges Baltistan Region; Dr. Khalid Ashraf, Director Colleges, Mr. Manzoor Karim, and Mr. Syed Mazahir Hussain Nomination Department, Mr. Zakir (from Danyore), Mr. Sabir Hussain (from Skardu), for supporting and facilitating us during the entire trip. We are also thankful to all principals, teachers & other admin staff of the below mentioned colleges for giving us the opportunity to the conduct sessions in their respective colleges and allow us to meet the deserving & talented students of HSSC Level-I and HSSC Level-II. We hope that these institutes will take the initiative and become a part of the community outreach program launched by IHSAN TRUST in collaboration with the leading business university, Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, to revolutionize education and champion it for all, without any form of discrimination.
