4 II. GRAMMAR REVIEW: Topic: Adjectives (5-6 minutes) General Description: Adjectives are words which tell us something about nouns, that is, about a person, an animal, a thing or a place. The following are the different kinds of adjectives and how they are used. Kinds of Description Example Adjectives Descriptive Tells about color, shape or condition That is a difficult task. Quantitative Tells about quantity or amount I have three questions to ask. Remember: An adjective may be placed before or after the noun it describes. Examples: Here are more examples of usage of different kinds of adjectives: The trainee is holding the brown envelope. The trainer is writing in the rectangular board. The manager needs three crews to assist the customers. Comprehension Check: Identify the adjective and the kind of adjective that is used in the sentence.
