Curriculum Night Overview of the grade level standards, curriculum, student goal setting, grading, communication, and time for Q & A. Two sessions have been scheduled to allow parents with multiple children to attend their children s homeroom presentation.

Homeroom teachers and room parents will coordinate. There will be assigned times for each grade level to alleviate overcrowding and parking issues. Times TBA. SEMINOLE MONTHLY SERVICE Students and families are welcome to make a donation to Toys for Tots. Students will be encouraged to create a seasonal card for a patient in the children s hospital and/or nursing home.

The school staff will follow the Student Inclement Weather Information Form regarding transportation.

Students will continue to participate in fitness activities and cultivating awareness of making healthy choices. Students will participate in Jump Rope for Heart sponsored by the American Heart Association, and in service projects initiated through individuals or groups of students through their. STUDENT LED CONFERENCE February 1st ~ 28th The homeroom teacher will coordinate a time for you to attend. You child will have the opportunity to take the lead in sharing their goals and examples of their work. More information will be shared through Seminole Signals.

Students are welcome to donate dimes or a dollar. Our community business partner, HWPA, is hosting the event at their new venue. The specific date has yet to be determined. Tentative Date: Thursday, March 8th or 15th. The date and time will be announced in February.

If it rains, the event will be rescheduled for the 27th. ALTERNATIVE SCHEDULE The dates for school and PTO events were based on HCSD and state calendar. Spring and End of the Year dates are subject to change due to the days missed from winter s inclement weather and/or changes in the statewide testing window for Georgia Milestone End of Grade Assessment. An update will be provided via teacher s personal newsletter, the school s website, and our weekly Seminole Signals.
