1 26 March 2015 Dear Parent/Guardian, 1) 2015 PSLE Examination Fees P6 Updates (2/2015) In line with the announcement made by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, in his Budget Speech on 23 February 2015, the national examination fees will be waived for all Singaporean students in Governmentfunded schools sitting for the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) from The 2015 PSLE examination fees for NonSingaporean school candidates are as follows: Permanent Residents $60 International Students $180 No refunds will be given for the examination fee paid. MOE will continue to absorb the Goods and Services Tax (GST) of the examination fees for all school candidates. Should you have any queries, please contact our Administrative Manager, Mdm Mariam, at ) PSLE Registration The PSLE Registration Slips have been given to your child/ward. If there are any errors in the PSLE subject combination or if there are changes to your child s/ ward s personal particulars, the amendment is to be made in ink on the Registration Slip by the parent and the necessary documentary proof is to be submitted. The Registration Slips are to be signed by parents and then returned to the Form Teachers. 3) 2015 PSLE Examination The 2015 PSLE Examination will commence on 20 August The 2015 PSLE Examination consists of 3 sections. A) Oral Examination (Thursday, 20 August and Friday, 21 August) B) Listening Comprehension Examination (Friday, 18 September) C) Written Examination (Thursday 1 October Wednesday 7 October) 1

2 Please refer to the attached schedule for the actual dates, paper and time for each examination. 3) 2015 P6 Semestral Assessment 1 Examination Please take note that our P6 SA1 Examination will commence from Week 6 this term. Kindly refer to the attached for details on the topics tested. 4) P6 MeetTheParents Session We would like to thank you for attending the P6 MeettheParents Session on 14 March The slides presented during the session are uploaded onto MC Online. You may log in to MC Online to download the slides. 5) P6 Campfire With Parents We are planning a campfire for the P6 students on Friday, 29 May 2015 as part of our efforts to foster bonding. We will be inviting you to this event and hope we can collaboratively motivate the pupils in their preparation for the PSLE. Further details on the campfire will be provided at a later date.
