Parents are welcome to attend and run with their child or cheer them on! A schedule will be sent home by school messenger soon! Make up day (rain date) is May 22nd.
2 5th & 6th GRADE FIELD DAYS Just a reminder the 5th & 6th Grade field days will be on Tuesday, May 23rd (6th) and Wednesday, May 24th (5th) at the high school track and football field. Students are welcome to bring their own lunch, drinks should be in plastic bottles or aluminum cans. (NO glass bottles please) We will once again offer school lunch of grilled hamburgers or hotdogs and chips. Parents are welcome to come and watch your kids compete. More information will be sent home this week. Virgil Grissom book exchange will be on May 30th. If your child would like they are welcome to bring in gently used books in which they can exchange for other books! HIGH MAY 31 FIELDTRIP TO PUTNAM MUSEUM Ecology Day Virgil Grissom s Ecology Rock Creek Marina has been set for Wednesday, May 31st. This fieldtrip is for Pre-K, 1 st, 3 rd and 5 th grade. Students will need to bring a sack lunch. Any drinks should be in plastic bottles. (NO glass bottles please) Please send them to school with or wearing bug spray and sunscreen as the weather may be very sunny and warm! More information will be sent home this week.

Cost is $50 North Scott Soccer Club will be holding tryouts and signups in June. Go to nssoccer.net/club for dates and times. FOOD ASSISTANCE FREE PANTRY in Park View If you or your family is having a hard time, or just needing a little assistance, there is an option for free food items. The North Scott Blessing Box is a free pantry site at the Park View Lutheran Church in Park View sponsored by the local Sheridan Sluggers 4-H club. This box is located in the parking lot of the church and is similar to the little free libraries in the area. The box contains non-perishable food items and some household essentials to help make ends meet, and it is: FREE to ANYONE to take what they need. It will be restocked weekly. It has been a community service project supported by community donations. North Scott Blessing Box : Located 14 Grove Rd. Park View at the driveway entrance to the Park View Lutheran Church.
