3 INTRODUCTION Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to share this report on the university s international student community. The Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) serves our rapidly growing international community of students and scholars. We track, report, and provide services for over 1434 enrolled and graduated international students. This report serves as a statistical resource about our international students. Lehigh s international community includes degree seeking and non-degree seeking non-immigrant visa holders and exchange students. This report does not include international scholars who serve as researchers, faculty members, or short-term lecturers at the university, nor does it include immigrants such as green card holders, asylees or refugees. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at sad416@lehigh.edu. Sincerely, Samba Dieng Director, International Students & Scholars Office of International Affairs Lehigh University
