Teachers will inform students of supplies and fees on the first day of school. Typical needs are Three-Ring Folders, Subject Notebooks and pens/pencils. Math Supply List The school district uses a 6-12 math curriculum which utilizes an integrated, activity based approach to learning. As a result, all math students are required to have the following supplies for the first day of class: MATH SUPPLIES QUANTITY **TI-84 Graphing Calculator REQUIRED 1 1.5" Three-Ring Binder - REQUIRED 1 Graph Paper - REQUIRED (graph notebook highly recommended) 1 pad Pencils with erasers - REQUIRED multiple Compass (For Math 2 class only) 1 Protractor 1 12" Ruler (inch & metric) 1 Colored Pencils (set of 8 or more) Glue Stick (optional) 1 6" Scissors (optional) 1 Zippered case to clip in binder for holding supplies (optional) 1 **High school math and science courses require the use of a TI-84 calculator. Students are urged to put their name on their calculator in some type of permanent identification, keeping the calculator in a secure place when not in use. Advanced Science courses: Graphing Calculator (TI-84 or TI-84 Silver or plus edition) Course Fees There are course fees which are based on the cost of consumable materials used in project-based courses and are charged to those students who choose to take these courses. Specific teacher supply lists will be available at Back to School Night in August. Supplies will need to be replenished throughout the school year. Due to environmental and teacher concerns, the following supplies are NOT needed: Whiteout, Rubber Cement, and Gel Pens. Students will be provided with a Student Planner at no cost. Students are required to use the Planner throughout the entire school year.
