5 CALIFORNIA STATE TESTING April (5 th grade), 7 hours of testing Common Core State Standards Computer Adaptive Technology English Language Arts and Literacy and Math

6 SIXTH GRADE MATH PLACEMENT Exam to be given after April 24 (exact date to be determined by middle school and district office) 6 th grade counselors place students based upon placement exam score, SBAC scores, grades, and Vejar teacher recommendation Suzanne Middle School will contact you regarding placement. Changes can be discussed with Suzanne staff in the fall

10 HUMAN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT One and a half hour lesson on May 19. Boys will be taught by Mr. Lantow, and guest male teacher from Suzanne. Girls by Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Baker. Lesson covers body changes, hygiene Video can be previewed by parents. Make an appointment with Mrs. Gostel to schedule a preview in the office. Students must bring in a permission slip to participate - salmon
