3 Reading, Writing, Maths Key Objectives for Year The expectation is that children will be demonstrating all of the key objectives by the end of the year (ARE) secure fit not best fit. All objectives are available on the Summerlea website, as is this presentation. Evidence will be gathered from a range of work and distance from learning activities. Testing to track progress each term maths, reading, grammar and spelling.

4 How to help at home Regular reading talk about what they have read; record in reading diaries visit the library. Times tables children are expected to know them up to 12x12 by end of year 4. Practice out of order and related division facts. Around the World Maths key skills being learnt. Spelling practise the words sent home and the rules being covered. Have a go at the homework tasks together.
