1 Number: 654 Addressee: From: PUBLIC SECTOR MEMBERS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, HR MANAGERS AND PAYROLL Date: 17 MARCH Subject: ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR) SINGLE INTEREST ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT Dear Member We attach the first Salary Circular outlining the rates of pay and allowances for the entire wage increases in accordance with Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement ( Agreement ). The Agreement provides for a increase and certain uplifts specified in clause of the Agreement. There are also a number of classification changes. The increase is effective from the first full pay period on or after 4. To assist members in implementing the classification changes VHIA has developed a payroll translation guide that outlines the various translations that are applicable and commentary on the changes. The guide contains changes that will occur automatically as a result of revised classifications. There may be some other minor movement between classifications as a result of the revised classification structure and this will require health services to review their employees against the revised classification structure. VHIA has developed a classification guide to assist health services in implementing the new classification structure. Attached also is the excel spreadsheet. We have also developed a frequently asked questions document in regards to back-pay that has been posted to the VHIA Community App and MyIR under the supplementary information under the existing agreement. We would also like to thank the members that assisted us in developing the above resources.
