16 Course Outline Purpose of the Training The FETC in Business Administration Services: NQF Level 4 is designed to meet the needs of those learners both employed or unemployed, who are already involved or wish to become involved in the field of Administration. Administration is an essential field of learning as Administration competencies apply to all industries and to many non-commercial venture. This means that there is an on-going need for skilled Administrative people to carry out these functions both in the commercial and non-commercial sectors. There is also a need to develop career paths in this field so as to offer people involved in Administration the opportunity to continue with a programme of life-long learning, which will make them knowledgeable and skilled employees with enhanced employment opportunities. The FETC in Business Administration Services at NQF Level 4 allows the learner to work towards a nationally recognised Qualification. The Qualification will allow both those in formal education and those already employed in organisations in the Administration field of learning in any business sector access to a Qualification that can be used as a benchmark to gauge their competence against local and international standards. 19 National Certificate: Project NQFL 5 Learnership - SAQA ID: credits - 25 DAYS Cost: R31, 500 ex vat Can also be offered as a learnership. Employers are eligible to receive a R16, tax rebate from SARS for each learner on a learnership. Course Objectives The purpose of this qualification is to address the project and general threshold competencies required to manage simple to moderately complex projects. This course will be suitable for any person wishing to advance their project management skills. Project management is a highly marketable skill required in the workplace. The growing economy also requires that we have more skilled and competent project managers. Project management is a valuable skill to have in any profession or career. This level 5 qualification will give you a highly marketable qualification when advancing in your career. Course Outcomes The focus of this qualification has been designed to enable learners to be competent in a range of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values. The learners who achieve this qualification will be able to demonstrate competencies in project and will ensure that learners are capable of: 1. Managing a simple to moderately complex project whilst: 2. Conduct effective communication, while working on a project. 3. Plan the project. 4. Execute and control the project.
