1 CCD Classes Begin: CCD Grades K, 1 st, 3 rd, 4 th, 5 th, 6 th, 7 th Tuesday, July 31, :30 7:30 PM Sacrament Classes 2 nd Rec/FHC and 8 th Conf. Wednesday, Aug. 1, :30 7:30 PM and SAC Class 3 rd through 8 th Grades (Wednesday classes are MANDATORY to receive sacraments) Baptism Certificates are required at time of registration for students who will prepare for First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Holy Day of Obligations landing on CCD class days: Students will attend Mass at 7:00 PM All CCD student s grades K 8th will check in with their teacher before Mass begins. There will be no CCD classes on Tuesday or Wednesday, Mass is attended in place of CCD class. School Breaks: SMA follows the FUSD school session breaks. It is understood that other districts, private, and charter schools may not follow this schedule and that vacations and trips may mean your child is absent when we are back in session. We ask that you please notify the DRE/Teacher beforehand. Absences for students preparing for Sacraments: 2 nd and 8 th grade students including student s in grades 3 rd through 7 th who are preparing for Sacraments are allowed only 3 excused absences such as illness of child, or death in the family. The DRE, Rectory, or Teacher must be notified in advance for that day of child s absence to be counted as excused. Over 3 absences may cause your child to not make their sacrament during this school session and will need to repeat classes the following school year. No refunds will be given or applied to the next school year registration fees. Mandatory Parent/Legal Guardian Meetings of Sacrament Students are important. These meetings will explain the obligations you have as a parent/legal guardian for your child/children preparing for their sacraments. Attire, homework assignments, absences, being late to class, knowing their prayers, attending Mass regularly, joining a church ministry, and service hours will be discussed. Registration and One-Time Family Fees must be made at time of registration. 50% deposit is required if full payment cannot be made at time of registration. Registration fees are non-refundable. Online registration will not be available. Non-Registered Parishioners are encouraged to pick-up from the Greeters table a Welcome Package to register as Parishioners of St. Michael the Archangel by June 30, 2018 to avoid the One-Time Family Fee of $ Registration for CCD will be held each Sunday, in July 2018, AFTER the 8am and 10am Masses in the back- CCD area. Registration Forms will be available at the CCD Table starting June 9 th to avoid the late registration fees and to have baptism certificates when you bring the forms back in July. 2 Registration Fees Registration Fees: Fees must be paid at time of registration. If you are unable to pay the full amount at time of registration a 50% deposit is required to be made. Registration fees are used to purchase books, school supplies, etc. a delay in payment means items are not available when class begins. Payment schedules are available by contacting the DRE or the Rectory at (520) CCD Registration Fees are non-refundable and will not be applied to future registration school years sessions.
