16 Campus Goals & Performance Objectives Goal 1: Provide students a quality education that will demonstrate academic success and individual growth. Objective: By 2016, all students and all student groups will achieve satisfactory performance or be advanced on the STAAR tests. Goal 2: Provide teachers with the curriculum, technology, instructional programs, and training necessary for student growth. 17 Report of Violent and/or Criminal Incidents

18 Report on Violent and/or Criminal Offenses During the school year, one student was arrested and expelled for possession of marijuana. Three School Resource Officers are employed by the district. One remains on the high school campus, one remains at the middle school, and the third makes periodic visits to the elementary campuses. The officers work to keep the campuses safe and drug-free by building a rapport with the students, getting them involved in Junior Crime Stoppers, and sharing information with classes. Doors on all campuses remain locked to the outside except for main entrances on the secondary campuses. Badges are worn by all staff members, and visitors are required to sign in and carry a visitor s badge when on campus. The district adheres to a standard response protocol system in the event of emergency events that may occur at school.
