2 Dear Family, Just a note to let you know how much we re looking forward to the next six sessions of your child s church school class. The unit we re studying is called Imagine... God Creating Everything, and each week we ll be diving into a different part of God s creation story. In addition to experiencing the awe and wonder that come from considering the wonderful world our God has made, we ll be using every chance we get to respond with songs, prayers, praise, and thankfulness. Speaking of songs, the Scripture we ll be memorizing for this unit (Genesis 1: 1, 31a) has been set to music to help us learn it together. If you d like to listen to the song or download it, go to and look for the song title It Was Very Good. The other song we ll be learning is also a great one to sing with your child at home. It s called Thank You, Lord, for Making Me, and you ll also find it on the Dwell site. Talk with your child about creation your favorite animals, places, fruits, flowers, vegetables, and more and look for ways you and your family can take care of God s world. You ll find the stories we re learning each week on the Show and Share paper your child brings home. Encourage your child to show and share it with you!
