3 Example Study Programme Selections: Student A attained 2 7s, 2 6s, 3 5s (including English and Maths) and 1 3 (= 54 pts). This will lead to an offer of a General two year programme, beginning with 3 ASs in Y12 Student B attained 2 8s, 5 7s (including English and Maths) and 1 6 (= 71 pts). This will lead to an offer of a General two year programme, beginning with 4 ASs in Y12 Student C attained 1 5 (English), 3 3s (including Maths) and 2 2s (= 26 pts). This will lead to an offer of a BTEC L2 Business Foundation programme and a re-sit in GCSE Maths Student D attained 2 5 s (in English and Maths), 3 4s and 3 3s (= 41 pts) and is very good at Art. This could lead to an offer of a three year Level 3 Foundation programme, beginning with a Level 3 CTEC ICT and AS Art in Y12. In year 2 the student will choose a third subject to study. Student E attained 1 5 (Maths), 3 3s (including Maths) and 3 4s (=31 pts). This will lead to an offer of a Foundation 3 year Pathway and a re-sit in GCSE English. Most subjects also set a subject specific entry requirement. Please see Subject Specific Requirements. Students who do not meet the specific criteria (e.g gaining a grade 4 in English, not a grade 5, and wishing to study CTEC Business without doing so at KS4) may be considered with a high enough Attainment 8 score.
