1 Florida Writing Assessment Prompts From Grade 4 The writing prompts that follow are general approximations of the Florida Writing Assessment prompts that have been given to 4 th grade students since the beginning of the Florida Writing Assessment program. The most recent prompts are words exactly as the actual assessments Everyone has a favorite kind of weather. Think about your favorite kind of weather. Expository Write to explain why it is your favorite kind of weather Narrative What if a principal asked the 4th grade students to make lunch for the school one day? Think about what might happen when you and your class made lunch for the school one day. Write a story about what happened the day some 4 th grade students made lunch for the school.
