1 TEACHER, CURRICULUM & INTRUCTINAL TECHNLGY INTERACTIVE VIDECNFERENCING (IVC) JB UMMARY Under the direction of the Program Director, provide extensive expertise to develop, design, and deliver (on-air/live) rigorous, cross-content, standards-based lessons; develop standards-based curriculum guides aligned to Instructional Technology (IT) programs and goals including Interactive Videoconferencing (IVC) and other 21st Century Learning kills; design and implement effective and appropriate educational, technology-based training programs for assigned districts and education agencies and partnerships; work collaboratively with Curriculum and I/IT department staff, districts/schools, students, businesses, partners, agencies, and community groups to promote and advance the Interactive Videoconferencing (IVC) learning opportunities for students as well as other educators; and do other related work as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIN Knowledge of: Appropriate use of English, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, and basic math; Latest technologies related to instruction (21st Century Learning kills) and computer programs utilized throughout the industry for education (e.g., Web 2.0 tools, electronic surveys, Moodle, Twitter, Facebook, appropriate research tools and resources including CTAP, CLRN and Google, etc.) and office applications (e.g., Microsoft ffice, and utlook, internet browsers, intranet, other applications/"apps", etc.); California Content tandards and Curriculum Frameworks; California tandards for the Teaching Profession; English Language Development (ELD) methodology and instructional strategies; Differentiation and Inclusion methodologies and instructional strategies; Technology strategies for classroom integration and application; Current research on instructional best-practices and effective standards-based lesson and curriculum design including vertical alignment across multiple grade spans Appropriate instructional materials for classroom use and reliable sources/suppliers. Ability to: Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with children and adults contacted in the course of work; Understand, carry out, and communicate oral and written directions; Design and write lesson plans for individual and group instruction, utilizing technology enhancements (including IVC delivery content in addition to pre- and post-delivery lesson activities for classroom teachers); Use and integrate diverse teaching strategies to meet students' learning styles, abilities, interests, and cultural backgrounds; Apply classroom management techniques to ensure students remain engaged in delivery content; Make presentations, and provide formal and informal training, assistance and guidance to program participants and educational staff for related Curriculum/IT program elements; Use technology enhancements effectively in the classroom;

2 Gather and analyze data, research and other information and prepare clear, concise reports, manuals/guides, and other informational documents/resources incorporating text, graphs and graphics, utilizing appropriate software programs; Interpret policies, rules, and regulations applicable to scope of work; Work independently with directives, strictly adhering to program requirements and deadlines; Work collaboratively with educators, agencies, and the general public; Be flexible and receptive to change; Attend in-service training, conferences, and meetings, as needed. Education and Experience: A BA/B degree is required. Extensive experience using PowerPoint (and/or equivalent presentation software) is required. uccessful experience implementing classroom instructional technology is required. Education, certification, and/or experience in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or Ag-related field is highly desirable. Experience in on-camera-delivery and/or in video production is highly desirable. Extensive successful experience in current standards-based curriculum development and research-based-processes (including standards-mapping, alignment, formative assessment development and evaluation, rubric development and calibration, performance-data analysis and use, differentiated lesson plan design, and feedbacksystems development) is highly desirable. License, Certificate and Testing Requirements: Possess an appropriate valid ingle ubject or Multiple ubject California Teaching Credential. Possess a valid California Drivers License and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County. EENTIAL DUTIE Under the direction of the Program Director of Curriculum, in cooperation with Assistant uperintendent of Information ystems (I) and the lead IT Consultant, provide classroom instructional technology support to districts by assisting in the development, alignment, and implementation of standards-based technology curriculum and IVC content and lessons; Live/n-Air Content Delivery and Classroom Instruction to tudents Coordinate with content providers and instructional staff to assure that English Learner strategies are incorporated into IVC and other technology-enhanced lessons; Utilize and promote innovative strategies for teaching, student engagement and motivation, classroom management, use of instructional materials and adopted textbooks, and other activities relative to curriculum, instruction, and assessment; Collaborate, confer, meet and coordinate with committees, groups, supervisors, and colleagues, as scheduled and required; erve as a liaison for Curriculum/IT with participating schools, partners, businesses and industry representatives, and the community to coordinate services which meet the needs of the program participants; erve as a resource to provide formal and informal training, guidance, and assistance to educators, students, partners and agencies, as needed; Maintain accurate records and other required data and submit reports in a timely manner;

3 Keep current with issues, laws, regulations, and policies applicable to the Curriculum/IT program, as well as with educational and technology trends and other issues related to 21st Century Learning and IVC projects; Perform other related duties, as assigned.
