14 Passport to Prom Inspiring Learners For Their Future
15 Passport to Prom What is the Passport to Prom? Prom is a celebration of your hard work through the year and therefore the Passport to Prom is designed to recognise and reward your achievements at the Ridgeway School as well as supporting you with a focus on the essential behaviours for learning required to achieve your best. The Passport to Prom will run until Friday 19th May 2017 and this time you will need to: Inspiring Learners For Their Future
16 Passport to Prom Attend at least 15 revision, support or extra curricular sessions (they can be after school or in the holidays) Have an attendance of 92%+ or have significantly improved attendance. Valid medical reasons for poor attendance will be discussed and admission to the prom will be at the discretion of the Principal. Have 100% of their coursework/controlled assessment completed and handed in to the subject teacher within subject deadlines. Have at least a good (positive conduct points) or improved behaviour record. Demonstrate exemplary behaviour during the exam period leading to the Prom. Have volunteered in some way in the school or in the community. Inspiring Learners For Their Future
17 So what do you need to do? Passport to Prom Every half term you need to ensure that you have recorded your info in your passport to prom booklets within mentoring: Rewards We would like to reward students with a 50% discounted ticket so 30 students with the highest conduct points (and no behaviour logs) and all those with % attendance will be entered into a prized draw. There will be 10 50% tickets available for the prize draw. Inspiring Learners For Their Future
18 Passport to Prom Note: Any fixed term exclusion may ultimately result in the removal of the passport, unless this is followed by a significant improved behaviour record. However this and all decisions regarding admittance to the prom will be at the discretion of the Principal. Inspiring Learners For Their Future
