Intro We believe God created you for a purpose and if you really want to know and fulfill that purpose, then it is vital you get to know the One who originally made you. You possess totally unique gifts, talents and abilities. You are a product of design and not an accident. You also have a unique calling that only you can fulfill. However, if you do not have clarity on your gifts, talents and area of calling, then you may struggle to fulfill your destiny. That s where this guide comes in. If you are serious about fulfilling your destiny in this life, it is vital that you take the time to go through the discovery questions in this guide. We can guarantee that it will make a huge difference in your life and give you the clarity that most people do not have. Many are frustrated and disillusioned with their life or job and the primary reason is they are not in their calling. The first question to ask is do you have 100% clarity of your area of calling or purpose? Also do you know which talents and gifts you have that will help you fulfil this calling? If the answer is no, then you can begin to get clarity today. Here are some key thoughts to consider before you proceed to the questions. 1. We all have a purpose for being here that we need to discover 2. Clarity is power being clear about your gifts and calling will help you fulfil it 3. It is estimated that only 20% fulfil their potential and destiny in life Below is a series of discovery questions to help you identify and consequently fulfil your life calling. The following list may help identity your area of calling: Business, Education, Fashion & Beauty, Government, Media, Health/Medical, Social Work, Security (Police etc), Arts & Entertainment, Church Ministry, Family/Social Work, Sports, Politics, Technology, Science. Your Area (s) of Calling: Question 2 Your Natural ABILITIES & TALENTS What Are Your Natural Abilities & Talents? The following list may help you identity your abilities and talents: Public Speaking, Writing, Technology, Caring, Business, Administration, Listening, Counselling, Singing, Sports, Communication, Organisation, Numbers, Finance, Labour, Trades, DIY, Fast Learner, Kindness, Giving, Social-able/Friendly, Designer/Builder, Creativity, Drawing Your Abilities & Talents: Question 3 Your PASSIONS What Are Your Passions, interests or things that bring you joy? This is one of the clearest indications of your area of calling. The following list may help you identity your Passions: Sports, Charity, Helping the poor, Drawing, Teaching, Public Speaking, Youth Work, Writing, Technology, Caring, Business, Administration, Counselling, Singing, Worship, Prayer, Helping People, Giving, Creating Wealth, Outdoors, Animals/Pets, Children, Community Work. 5 Question 4 Your PAIN Area/What UPSETS you What things in life cause you pain, frustration or upset you? This is often a sign of an area you are called to, as you may well be called to be a solution in that area. For example: Poverty You may be called to have wealth to help alleviate poverty. Human Trafficking/Injustice You may be called to bring new solutions, support relevant charities or start your own organisation to solve the problem. The following list may help you identity: Poverty, Injustice, Crime, Trafficking, Debt, Homelessness, Dead religion, failed businesses, unemployment, sickness, addictions, suicide, depression, poor education, corruption, failed relationships, unjust government Your Pain Areas: Question 5 Your SPRITUAL GIFTS What Spiritual gifts you aware of in your life? Here are some of them and if any are familiar take note of them: Leadership, Prophecy, Administration, Helps, Service, Teaching, Giving, Healing, Discernment, Wisdom, Knowledge, Encouragement, Apostolic, Hospitality, Mercy Your Spiritual Gifts: Question 6 Your PURPOSE/PERSONAL STATEMENT Now use your answers to create a summary statement for your life that will help identify your potential calling and purpose in life. 6 Question 7 POTENTIAL CALLING/DESTINY With all your answers in mind, think about what your potential area of calling is. Example 1: Summary Statement: I am called to BUSINESS and I have these abilities: PUBLIC SPEAKING & WRITING and these spiritual gifts: ADMINISTRATION & APOSTOLIC. My passions include: HELPING THE POOR & CHARITIES and the areas that trigger pain are: POVERTY & INJUSTICE. Potential Life Calling: A business owner that uses their speaking & writing abilities and administrative gift to create wealth that helps the poor by alleviating poverty and injustice. Such a person needs to seek God for the details of the business they are to start and use their resources to support or even create relevant charitable organisations that alleviate poverty & injustice. Example 2: I am called to EDUCATION and I have these abilities: TEACHING & CREATIVITY and these spiritual gifts: WISDOM & HELPS. My passions include: TEACHING & YOUTH WORK and the area that triggers pain is: POOR EDUCATION. Potential Life Calling: A person who works within the Education sector and uses their teaching & creative abilities and gift of wisdom to create an educational programme that alleviates poor education both home and abroad. Now you can use your own personal statement to begin to discover your potential area of calling. Your Potential Life Calling: 6

7 Some Additional Tips/Questions To Define & Fulfil Your Destiny Has God indicated to you your area of calling? Have you ever had a prophetic word over your life? Spend time seeking God to clarify and confirm your area of calling What do people come to you for? Advice, information or things you can do? This could be an indication of your gifting/calling. Your life experiences are important learning and indicators for calling Spend time researching your potential area of calling Spend time developing your gifts and abilities What are your dreams and ambitions for the future? Dreams, visions and repeated desires can indicate an area of calling Discuss your discovery answers with trusted friends or people, they may be best placed to confirm or adjust some of your answers.
