5 Processing (Six (6) Program Aims) Ensure that graduates possess advanced knowledge and skills in communication system engineering; Equip graduates with advanced theoretical principles and scientific methods to create feasible and effective solutions to encounter problems and to evaluate the solutions; Train graduates to work on a project in which they propose, analyze, design, build, test, validate, verify, and deliver the results to meet appropriate communication protocol standards within a set of realistic given constraints;
6 Processing (Six (6) Program Aims) Instill graduates with skills for seeking knowledge independently through lifelong learning; Develop effective communication skills in both written and oral form for each graduate; Instill graduates with professional and ethical responsibilities as well as in understanding the various possible social, economic, cultural, legal, and environmental impacts of their electronics solutions within the global context.
7 Processing Course Topics:- 1 Review of discrete-time signals and systems concepts; z-transform properties (9 hours). 2 Sampling, multirate processing, and oversampling (6 hours). 3 Frequency response and transform analysis (3 hours)
8 Processing 4 Filter structures and filter design (6 hours). 5 DFT and DCT (3 hours) 6 FFT and short-time Fourier transform (STFT) applications (6 hours)
