1 P a g e 1 Targeted Intervention Plan Monahans Education Center Need: The campus will develop a process that will increase the vocabulary of students to increase STAAR scores. This process should include the verbs of the TEKS, academic vocabulary and common, everyday words data assessment process that will provide teachers with a process to assess student progress and make adjustments to the curriculum to ensure success. The campus will develop a assessment process that will allow teachers to effectively plan instruction and adjust the curriculum as needed. This process will also be used to plan effective, focused student interventions. The campus needs to develop a process to increase student attendance. This will include a plan for spiraling remediation that will be implemented during class time and intervention times.
