Understanding this can help you focus every area of your ministry around a clear communication of the Gospel. Prayer Prayer should be the backbone of any ministry. Learn how you can be directly involved in supporting CEF through the local Prayer Initiative and how your prayers will help build the body of Christ. Songs Songs are a powerful element to your ministry and should not be overlooked or underestimated. Learn how to teach spiritual truths through your songs that the children will understand. New songs and motions recommended for GNC will be shared. Warning: You will be introduced to new songs that may get stuck in your head. Grade Shepherding Grade Shepherding (small groups) has the most potential for making disciples within your ministry. 3 How God Guides Children The Holy Spirit is sometimes called the forgotten member of the Trinity. You can help children learn how to follow the Holy Spirits guidance and follow His will. Memory Verse Make scripture memory a vibrant part of your class using a simple 5 step method :10 9:40 * Why Evangelize Children Recruiting Volunteers Discipline Bible Lesson 1 (Using the story) Grade Shepherding part 2 The Value of an Emcee Why Evangelize Children? Learn why CEF believes children should be evangelized. Familiarize yourself with the related scripture and statistics on the issue so that you can help others understand the urgent need for our children. Discipline How do you maintain control in a class of students from a variety of ages and backgrounds? Your class discipline can be instructional and meaningful while also emphasizing safety. Practical tips will be presented that can be used in a variety of settings. BL 1 Using the Story Bible stories should never be boring. Learn tips for making a Biblical narrative come live. Examples will be from the new 2015 Fall GNC curriculum of "God Speaks." Grade Shepherding part 2 There are plenty of resources available to help children grow in their Christian walk. Grab some ideas and begin planning how you can make the most impact as a grade shepherd this semester. The Value of an Emcee Having a skilled emcee in your club will make transitions from one activity to another become opportunities for review and emphasis. Learn effective strategies that speed up the pace, decrease distractions and discipline problems, prepare for the next event, and redeem the time. Once you add an emcee to your club, you'll never want to run another club without one. 3/9

Personality Profiles Getting to know the children you are working with is extremely valuable, especially when you know how to engage and respond to that child. Learn some of the general personality trends that could be applied to anyone and also some strategies for how to work best with others in light of your own personality. Administrator Ideas Rub elbows with other GNC administrators. Share ideas, struggles, successes, and suggestions for running a GNC, connecting with the school, growing attendance, promotion, finding volunteers, working with your church, and so much more! BL 2 Applications Turn a Bible story into a Bible Lesson. Learn practical and innovative ways to prepare and present a Bible Lesson so that your students will apply the Word of God in their own lives. Examples will be from the 2015 Fall GNC curriculum of "God Speaks." Review Games Review games should be exciting, challenging, engaging, and something the class looks forward to, and they are also perfect opportunities for review and reteaching. Take away great strategies, ideas, and even games that can be used with any lesson. Missions Missions time has huge potential for dramatically impacting your entire ministry. Learn new ideas for making this an exciting time. Practical examples will be given for the fall GNC curriculum. 4/9

This class will give basic information all about CEF. Whether you are a seasoned volunteer or brand new to this ministry, you will certainly learn something new! Guiding a Child to the Savior pt2 (in practice) Build confidence in working with children after the invitation. Review "what if" scenarios and put what you are learning by practicing with guidance with others. Puppets Do you enjoy puppet ministry? Proper use of puppets in GNC or other children's ministry can help draw attention, connect with a child, and bring added fun to your ministry. Puppets can be used in club even without you needing to practice! Find out how! BL 3 The Invitation and Guiding a Child to the Savior Giving the invitation and counseling is the highlight of the club hour. We are going to break it down and provide practical tips to help you gain confidence in giving a clear invitation with every lesson. Examples will be from the 2015 Fall GNC curriculum "God Speaks." Computer Would you like help learning to use the GNC resources available for the computer? Learning how to use the computer and resources made for GNC can lower your frustration level, build confidence, and save you time. During this session, these resources will be shown and taught from the first step all the way to completion. Q&A, tutorials, and walk throughs will be available. Managing Attendance Children need to answer 3 questions before they are able to feel secure and ready to learn. Starting with the first day of club, learn the necessities of properly recording attendance while also welcoming each student and preparing them for club. Teaching Children to Pray Prayer is an essential piece of a disciples life and young believers need to be taught this important spiritual discipline. Learn easy ways to encourage children to make prayer a part of their daily life. 7/9
