CIPD: the gold standard for professional quality in L&D The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the world s largest professional body for those involved in the management and development of people. It has over 140,000 members across 120 countries, and 12,000 professionals train with CIPD qualifications and certifications each year. Their qualifications are highly sought-after and often required by employers, as they set the standard for L&D professionals. They ll put you head and shoulders above the competition in any business s eyes, and fully prepare you to excel in an L&D role. We ve been a trusted CIPD-approved centre for over 27 years. 3 Why this course is right for you Our 100% online CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development is the essential foundation you need to begin or advance in your Learning & Development career. It s shorter than the comprehensive Level 3 Diploma, so you ll get only essential L&D knowledge and complete the course in less time. You ll learn the principles, processes and strategies involved in the training cycle, and learn to plan, deliver and monitor L&D activities. You ll gain the specialist skills and knowledge you need to succeed in any entry-level L&D position - and all without giving up your job, family time or social life. Your study can be completely shaped to suit you. This course is perfect for you if: You want to gain essential L&D skills in less time than with the Level 3 Diploma You re just starting out in your L&D career, or are working in an L&D support role but don t have a formal qualification Entry Requirements You don t need any prior experience or qualifications to take this course, making it perfect if you re at the beginning of your L&D career. If English is your second language, you ll need an IELTS 6.5 or ESOL Level 2 (or equivalent). If you don t have this, we ll review your case on an individual basis. You want to become an Associate Member of the CIPD You want to progress to higher levels of CIPD study, such as the Level 5 Intermediate Diploma If you have any disabilities which you believe may impact your studies or assessments, please inform your Course Advisor before enrolment so that we can advise you on whether reasonable adjustments can be made to accommodate your needs. You re a line manager responsible for development and training Deciding to embark on distance learning was a huge decision, but ICS Learn addressed each of my concerns in detail. I have a very flexible period of time to study, and submitting assignments is at my own pace. The support really is there when I need it; ICS Learn provides you with the tools, the patience and the support you need to grow in confidence. I ve implemented much of what the course has taught me into my company, and my directors have already noticed the positive effects. Thank you to the ICS Learn team for being so fantastic! Laura Evans, CIPD Level 5 Diploma

5 Flexible, affordable payment options Our mission is to make learning affordable and accessible for all, no matter your circumstances. That s why we make spreading the cost of your course as simple and manageable as possible with our flexible, interest-free payment plans. You can get started right away with a deposit, then pay the rest through monthly direct debit. Our plans are flexible, so you can pay your balance off sooner if you d like. If you think your company will fully or partly fund your learning, we can help you put together a case, and invoice them for the cost of your course. Simply discuss this with your advisor when you enrol and they ll give you all the information you need. You also have the option of paying the full amount up-front if you d prefer. CIPD Membership Fees In order to sit your exams and receive your qualification, you ll need to pay a few external fees: In order to take the course and receive your qualification, you will need to become a member of the CIPD and pay CIPD s annual student membership fees. Your CIPD tutor will arrange this for you to make your life easier. Our course advisors can give you more information on CIPD s membership fee. You can find out the cost of the course and membership fees on our website, along with payment plan details and any discounts we re offering this month. Alternatively, you can call our course advisors to find out more. My course advisor went through my background, what I already knew about HR, where did I want to go, what kind of roles I wanted, how I could pay for it (interest free payments!) and what qualification would suit me best, specifically Diploma vs Certificate. I will also say that ICS Learn were the most competitive by a long shot. I signed up there and then and started my first module the same day! I have since secured a job as an HR Manager for a national retail brand. I would not have been able to do this without the support from ICS Learn and their amazing tutors. This has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Ashley Phillips, Level 3 Diploma
6 Where your qualification will take you Once you ve finished your course: With a qualification in L&D from the leading professional body in the field, you ll be able to bring specialist knowledge to any entry-level or support role. You ll have your assigned CIPD tutor, who ll answer all your questions about coursework and exams. You can get in touch with them via phone or through the Student Community. You ll also have our Student Support team waiting in the wings to help you with administrative tasks, using the Student Community, and any other non-academic queries you might have. That means that no matter what you need, there will always be someone here to help. We re with you every step of the way. As you study, if you have something you wish to talk to them about, you and within 48 hrs or usually less they have responded. Each of them have been friendly, helpful and supportive. I feel I know these people, which was something I never expected to gain form an online course. The flexibility, affordability, access to specialist tutors and personal rapport that you build with them outweighs any of my original concerns about not going to a college each week.
